With guest director David Hill, MBE and Royal School of Church Music in America, affiliated choirs from the Maryland area. David Hill has a long and distinguished career as an organist, choral, an orchestra conductor.

On Friday, March 28 at 7:30 pm, The Church of the Redeemer's, "Friends of Music" is offering an evening of jazz featuring Jeff Reed and his quartet. Jeff is a celebrated acoustic bassist, an educator and performer. He currently lives in baltimore and teaches jazz at Towson University. This salon concert is free and will take place in the parish hall. This is an informal event. Please feel free to bring snacks, drinks and friends to an enjoyable, fun evening. The Church of the Redeemer is located at 5603 N Charles Street. Look forward to seeing you there!

Compline- This Sunday @ 8:00 p.m.

Join the Redeemer Compline Schola for Compline (Sung Prayer at the end of the Day) this Sunday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. in the beautiful setting of the chapel. Compline usually lasts about 25 minutes and is almost entirely sung using plainsong and unaccompanied motets.. In addition to the service music we will be offering Thomas Tallis’ O Lord, give thy Holy Spirit and Stephen Paulus’ Pilgrim’s Hymn. The doors of the chapel will open at 7:45 p.m. Compline is a peaceful way to prepare for the busyness of the week.

Join singers Jennifer Simone Smith, Nancy Dudley, John Dudley, William Sudduth, flautist Rebecca Lange-Thernes, and harpist Lis Green as they offer music from the silver screen and Broadway.

The concert will be in a “Salon” setting in the parish hall. You are invited to bring snacks and beverages to enjoy as you listen to and engage with the music and musicians.
