This past Sunday was the debut of our Summer Choir - and they sounded great! It has grown significantly since we restarted it last summer after a hiatus of a few years. Everyone is welcome, there’s no audition, and you can sing as many or as few Sundays as you want - and you get the best seats in the house! If you’re interested, talk to Dr. Doug or let Fr. A big St. David’s turnout in a standing-room-only crowd at the Ivy Bookshop tonight to hear parishioner Brooke Nevils in a conversation about her book Unspeakable Things: Silence, Shame, and the Stories We Choose to Believe, led by Katie Curran O’Malley, executive director of the Women’s Law Center of Maryland.

First day in the office for our new parish secretary Kelly Buchanan, and we are welcoming her to the church office in the most authentic way possible - with printer problems! Kelly will be in the office Monday through Thursday, 9am-3pm. Stop by and say hi!

A glorious morning at St. David’s, with our bishop-in-residence the Rt. Rev’d John Rabb confirming 4 and receiving 2 into The Episcopal Church (if you missed it, the next chance to be confirmed will be during Bishop Carrie’s visit on Dec 13th). And the choir sang the most marvelous introit - technical difficulties on our page, but you can hear it in the recording of today’s service on our YouTube page!
