A glorious morning at St. David’s, with our bishop-in-residence the Rt. Rev’d John Rabb confirming 4 and receiving 2 into The Episcopal Church (if you missed it, the next chance to be confirmed will be during Bishop Carrie’s visit on Dec 13th). Happy birthday to John, our oldest parishioner, who turns 100 today! John was a longtime usher at St. David’s and met his wife when she came to church here one day. He doesn’t get out as much these days, but he came to church this past Sunday and we had the chance to sing happy birthday to him, accompanied by the organ and choir, and had a cake in his honor at coffee hour. Happy birthday, John, and may God grant you many years!
