If you’ve ever admired the beautiful flowers at services and receptions, come hang out with the folks who arranged them! The St. David’s Flower Guild is meeting this Sunday after church; all are welcome, especially if you’re interested in getting involved. We have periodic workshops on flower arranging and will also pair you with an experienced member as you learn.

Join us at our 10am service on October 4th for the Blessing of the Animals in observance of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi! The service is a full service with choir and Communion, but we do streamline and shorten it a bit to make it a little easier for our friends who aren't as accustomed to attending church. All animals are welcome - on a leash or in a carrier, please, for everyone's safety. If your pet isn't ready for church, you can bring a stuffed animal or photo to represent them.

The Men of St. David’s gathered this afternoon just to hang out and watch the Ravens game. Fr. Todd only took one photo before he got distracted by the game day buffet inside! The Hovermills’ dogs were distracted by the same thing. And look closely when the porch was lit up after the game and you’ll see the Episcopal, Welsh (as in “St. David of Wales”), and Ravens flags flying, a perfect combo!
