Fr. John Bilenki invites us to pray for our Pope Leo’ health:

Join us in praying for Pope Leo XIV who is recovering from a surgery which removed a cancerous nodule in his lung. Vatican News reports that the Holy Father is progressing in his recovery, walking around his room, and eating. We pray for favorable pathology reports in the days to come. Let us pray:

Through the intercession of Mary, Health of the Sick, St. Joseph the Guardian of the Church, Sts. Peter and Paul, St. Augustine, and St. Peregrine, Lord Jesus Divine Physician, mercifully grant your shepherd, our Pope Leo, healing and return to full health -- spirit, soul, and body as he continues to serve as your Vicar on earth. May those who minister to him medically and sacramentally be instruments of Christ's healing grace. May the holy and glorious wounds of Christ guard and keep all of the sick and may they find hope in your promise: "See, I make all things new" (Rev 21:15). Amen.

The Archdiocese of Baltimore has been blessed with 66 seminarians this year. Please pray for them and for an increase in vocations to the priesthood in our archdiocese. Lord, grant us may holy priests !!!

The Vocations Office hosted a reception for our new seminarians and their parents. We are blessed in the Archdiocese of Baltimore by the number of vocations. Let’s continue praying to God so that He, the Master of the harvest, sends more laborers into His harvest.

Discernment Day with the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia

The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia will host a discernment retreat day on Saturday, September 19th (10 am-5:00 pm) at Mount de Sales Academy in Baltimore, MD. Open to single Catholic women ages 16-30, the event includes Mass, prayer with the sisters, Adoration, spiritual talks, and lunch. For more information or to register, please email [email protected].
