Today, we commemorate the memory and legacy of our distinguished Pastor Emeritus Reverend Dr. Alex Young Sr., who served as pastor of Mt. Calvary Star Baptist Church for over 45 years. Although we miss him dearly, the indelible mark he left on Mt. Calvary Star Baptist Church through his work, teachings, and impact will always be cherished and celebrated. 🕊️💙

After yesterday’s service and dinner, our hearts and plates were full! We had an amazing time worshiping together and enjoying a fun round of with our church family and friends. Every day is a day of thanksgiving, and we’re truly grateful for everyone who joined us in celebrating this season of gratitude and giving.
