We invite you to join us THIS SATURDAY from 4 pm to 6 pm to celebrate all that has happened during our busy summer here at Stillmeadow! We are so excited for our youth to show you the work they've done in our PeacePark, and our campers to share all they've learned about nature and music! Expect music, food, and lots of fun. Greetings and Happy Arbor Day from Stillmeadow!
Here's a fun fact for Arbor Day: Did you know tree canopy cover can reduce temps by 11-19 degrees Fahrenheit compared to communities with no tree cover? Planting trees helps combat dangerous heat islands in our cities. As a Funding Urban Forestry partner, we proudly join the US Forest Service in helping strengthen our tree canopy and build a skilled workforce to steward critical urban forests with funds through the Inflation Reduction Act.
