Through the leading of the Lord, our Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Carl A. Pierce, Sr., has appointed Elder William N. Ward, III as Pastor of Open Door Ministries Church of God in Christ one of the historic and esteemed churches within our district and jurisdiction.

On behalf of our District Superintendent, Bishop Eastand Royal, Sr., our beloved District Missionary, Mother Dorothy Dyett, and the entire leadership of the Highridge Park District MDCEJ COGIC , we extend our heartfelt congratulations and unwavering support.

We are truly excited and in great expectation for the Kingdom work that Pastor William N. Ward, III and First Lady Arielle Ward will accomplish, all to the glory of God.

You’re Invited!

Join us for the 2026 Highridge Park District MDCEJ COGIC District Meeting of the Maryland Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, COGIC—a powerful week of worship, fellowship, and the Word of God.

We begin on Tuesday, February 24th, with our District Fellowship Night, as we are blessed to hear the anointed voices of the First Ladies of the District sharing an encouraging and timely word from the Lord.

On Wednesday, February 25th, we gather for the Official Opening Night of our District Meeting, featuring a powerful message from Pastor Antonio Jackson of Chosen Generation Worship Center.

Thursday, February 26th is our District Missionary Night, designated as Women’s Emphasis Night, where we will be uplifted by the word of the Lord being shared from our District Missionary Dorothy Dyett.

We will conclude on Friday, February 27th, with our Closing Night Celebration, as we hear from our dynamic leader and superintendent, Bishop Eastand J. Royal, Sr.

We invite you to worship with us each night at 7:00 PM all services will be held at
