STARTING TONIGHT — Thursday, October 22, 2026

“Actions are only by intentions…” — the very first hadith in Imām an-Nawawī’s Forty (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1 · Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1907).

Most of us don’t struggle with having good intentions. We struggle with intentions that never leave the heart.

For the next three Thursday nights, we open the Forty Hadith together at Masjid Ul-Ḥaqq:

Masjid Ul Haqq is now enrolling for Qur’an Recitation for Beginners & Beginners Advanced, a small-group course for men, women, and children who want a strong foundation in reading the Qur’an.

✨ Learn the Arabic alphabet with proper Makharij
✨ Complete Al-Qa’idah An-Nuraniyyah
✨ Recite short Surahs, from Al-Fatihah to Al-Humazah, with accuracy and basic Tajweed 5-10 students per group, every student gets personal instruction, correction, and support.

🗓 Choose your group:
    •    Saturday, 11:30 AM–1:30 PM: Adults (men & women, beginner)

    •    Saturday, 2:00–4:00 PM: Children (beginner)

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

On behalf of Masjid ul Haqq, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to the family of our beloved Brother John Yahya Cason.

We ask Allah (SWT) to comfort and strengthen his family and loved ones during this difficult time; to forgive our brother, shower him with His mercy, make his grave spacious and filled with light, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannatul-Firdaus. Ameen!

Brother John Yahya Cason was a longtime and devoted member of Masjid ul Haqq who served the institution and its members in many capacities.

Throughout his years with us, he made meaningful contributions to the continued growth and development of the Masjid and to the spiritual and Islamic development of its members.
We are grateful to Allah for the time He allowed us to share with our brother and for the many ways Brother John touched the lives of those around him.

May Allah accept his service, forgive his shortcomings, reward his good deeds, and grant him Jannatul-Firdaus without reckoning.
May Allah grant patience and strength to his family, friends, and the entire Baltimore Muslim Community.
