👋 Meet Your Druid Ridge Team | Kayvan Ghassempour

Meet Kayvan - a Baltimore-area local since 2018 and one of the Family Service Counselors here at Druid Ridge.

Kayvan graduated from Towson University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Legal Studies. His decision to enter death care was shaped by the loss of one of his closest friends, an experience that showed him just how important compassionate guidance can be during grief.

And there's much more to Kayvan than what you'll see around the cemetery! He's traveled to more than 20 countries, names Lefkada, Greece as his favorite destination, and has even checked skydiving off his bucket list. ✈️🌎

Whether he's helping a family plan ahead or guiding someone through an immediate need, Kayvan's goal is simple: make sure families feel heard, respected, and cared for every step of the way.

We're proud to have him representing Druid Ridge.

👋 Meet Your Druid Ridge Team | Adam Nganwa

If you've visited Druid Ridge recently, you may already recognize Adam's smile!

Adam Nganwa attended Towson University, where he studied psychology and chemistry with a focus in counseling. Before entering death care, his experience included working with children with autism, along with several years in customer service - experiences that helped shape his ability to listen, connect with others, and meet people where they are.

What ultimately drew Adam to death care was the opportunity to support families during some of life's most vulnerable moments, whether they are planning ahead for the future or navigating the loss of someone they love. He believes that listening and building genuine connections are just as important as helping families understand their options.

Outside of Druid Ridge, Adam enjoys working out, driving his car, and spending time with his cat, Pickle - who he's always happy to show off to fellow animal lovers. 🐱

We're grateful to have Adam serving the families of Druid Ridge as one of our Family Service Counselors. If you see him around the cemetery, be sure to say hello! 💙

🍂 Hello, September! 🍂

A new month is here, and with it comes the beginning of a beautiful change of season at Druid Ridge Cemetery.

September has a way of reminding us that time moves quickly. The seasons change, families grow, and life continues to move forward - which makes it a meaningful time to slow down and have some of the conversations we often tell ourselves we’ll get to “someday.”

Whether that means learning more about your family’s cemetery property, making sure your wishes are documented, reviewing existing arrangements, or simply understanding what options are available for the future, our team at Druid Ridge Cemetery is always here as a resource.

Planning ahead doesn’t have to be a difficult conversation. Sometimes, it simply starts with asking a few questions. 🤍

As summer comes to a close, we wanted to make our community aware that special end-of-summer savings are available through August 31st for families who may be considering cemetery pre-planning.

Pre-planning doesn’t have to mean making every decision today. Sometimes, it simply means learning what options are available, understanding current costs, and having the information you need to make the right decision for your family when the time feels right.
