B'nai Israel Young Adults - BIYA B'nai Israel Young Adults (BIYA) is a welcoming community of Jewish Young Adults in their mid 20s - early 40s in downtown Baltimore.

B’nai Israel Young Adults (BIYA) is a subset organization of the B'nai Israel Congregation in downtown Baltimore. It serves as a community for Jewish young adults with people coming from the surrounding neighborhoods of Little Italy, Fells Point, Canton, the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, and beyond! B'nai Israel Young Adults' goal is to provide opportunities for young adults to participate in Jewish

life after college. BIYA programming includes Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, learning events, sponsored kiddush, happy hours, and regular book clubs. We also are involved in Bnai Israel congregation wide events like Scholar in Residence Shabbat programming and the upcoming Creative Alliance cultural events.

Join us downtown for Chanukah! There are a lot of free events happening and everyone is welcome. On Tuesday, December 16th, we'll bring some downtown Hanukkah joy to the Tikva House to show those currently praying for miracles that there is a caring Jewish community within only a few minutes' walking distance. The next night, December 17th, join us at B'nai for a joy-filled musical Hanukkah, and then on Shabbat, December 20th, feast with us at a sumptuous Chanukah Shabbat lunch.
