On this Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we contemplate a love that is beyond our understanding — and yet utterly personal. Christ's heart is not a symbol.

It is the seat of his mercy, his longing, his grief, his boundless love for each of us.

Today is a historic moment for the Catholic Church in the United States.
The Catholic Bishops of the United States are consecrating our country to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In a time of so much division and uncertainty, this act of faith is a profound witness that our hope is not in political power or human effort, but in the Heart that loves without limit. We join our prayer to this act of consecration.

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi calls us back to the heart of our faith.
In the Eucharist, Christ gives himself to us completely – Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

For the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church, this is more than a feast day. It is the center from which our entire mission flows.
We pray that all who receive him today are renewed in love, strengthened in service, and drawn ever closer to his Sacred Heart.

Yesterday was our Foundation Day, and we can't thank those who celebrated over 150 years of mission with us enough. Your generosity ensures we can continue to serve the people right in front of us.

Our Food Pantry is one of the most immediate expressions of our charism: seeing Christ in every person who comes through the door, and responding with whatever we have. And our Food Pantry needs more food on the shelves.

June 4 marks our Foundation Day — the moment the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church began a mission that has carried forward for over a century.

Today we pause to give thanks for every Sister who answered the call, every community that welcomed us, and every life touched through the work of this congregation.

This week, we celebrate 150+ years of mission. But before Foundation Day arrives, we want to share something close to our hearts: the Food Pantry.


Every week, our Sisters and volunteers open the doors to neighbors who are hungry. No questions asked. No conditions. Just food, dignity, and love in action.


This Foundation Day, we're inviting our community to be part of it. Starting now through June 4, you can donate funds or shop non-perishable food items to help us keep those shelves full for the families who depend on us.
