Castlewood is located just west of Castlewood State Park at Kiefer Creek Road and New Ballwin Road. We are surrounded by wooded hillsides and occasionally have deer grazing in our front yard. Castlewood Baptist Church was organized on March 31, 1967 from the Castlewood Baptist Mission that was established by Rock Hill Baptist Church in 1954. It was first located on Valley Drive in the Castlewood c

ommunity. The Church remained at this location until 1956, at which time land was purchased and a sanctuary and educational unit was built. William Hoffman was the first Pastor. Castlewood Baptist Church became a member of the St. Louis Metro Baptist Association in 1967, and a member of the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our church is about people. It's about the community we share as family. At Castlewood you'll find a group of exciting and loving Christians you can connect with as friends and family. The congregation of the Castlewood Baptist Church extend an invitation to you to visit us in any of our services and we invite you to become a part of the family of God. We are a Southern Baptist Church, a part of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Missouri Baptist Convention and the St. Louis Metro Baptist Association.
