Since the 4th Century, the Church has referred to the week of Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday (Easter) as “Holy Week.” Prior to that designation, believers often called it the “Great Week,” for it marked the great events that God accomplished through Christ Jesus.

Regardless of its designation join us as we worship recalling these great events - the triumphal entry, Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation, and our resurrected Savior whom death could not hold!

On Saturday night the women’s ministry hosted another wonderful Art and Appetizer event. There was delicious food, a talk on the necessity of beauty in this world and how it comes from the Lord, and an iris paper folding tutorial. Of course amidst the paper folding there was also much fellowship and fun! The ladies left with full tummies, their minds set on the beauty that comes from Christ, and a beautiful craft.

Yesterday our children heard from several Twin Oaks missionary families as part of our 2026 Global Missions Conference. We give praise to the Lord that he displays His splendor through these partners in the gospel around the world.

Twin Oaks will begin another 13-week session of GriefShare starting Thursday, January 15 - April 9.

The GriefShare group will meet to help those facing challenges associated with the loss of a loved one and to move toward rebuilding your life with God’s help. Each weekly session includes a video with experts, discussion on that week’s topic, and personal study and reflection at home. Cost is $20 and includes a workbook. Call the church office to register or for more information.

This concert is FREE. All are welcome to attend and appreciate the birth of Christ and worship in celebration all that the Lord has done for us. Seating is first come, first seated.
