We are happy to announce as our Hindu Temple is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. The governing team along with devotees and volunteers decided to perform Brahmotsavam from May 24th to May 28th, 2024.

This ritual holds unparalleled significance as a devoted Seva to Lord Balaji. Under the esteemed guidance of Priest Sri Ramakrishna Narayanam garu, who led the 2022 Maha Kumbhabhishekam, the Brahmotsavam will be conducted authentically and with utmost reverence. It promises to be a sight to behold, with exquisitely crafted vahanams, intricately designed Parikrama, and the ornate Radham, all reminiscent of the grandeur of the Tirumala Brahmotsavam.

Scheduled over five days from May 24-28, this event offers a rare opportunity for all of us to partake in this grand Utsavam. There are various avenues for Volunteering, Sponsorship, and Participation, allowing everyone to contribute to its success. Each day will feature Sangita and Nritya Sevas, adding to the spiritual richness of the Brahmotsavam.

The Hindu Temple of St.Louis celebrating Ekadasha Rudram on July 30th from 9 AM.

“Šri Rudram is a powerful ancient hymn in praise of Lord Šiva. Ekãdaša Rudra Pãrãyanam is the chanting of Šri Rudram eleven times in a certain pattern. All eleven sections of namakam are chanted followed by the first of the eleven sections of chamakam. This pattern is repeated ten more times with each of the other ten sections of chamakam. Vedas contain prayers and instructions for a good way of life, progeny, prosperity, good health and happiness, besides ways to attain bliss. Let us move inwards and glide into a meditative state, chanting these wonderfully potent mantras.”
The Eleven Rudras: Shiva has eleven forms of Rudra. He has
several names and avatars and various scriptures and
religious books give different names. However the 11 Rudras
worshipped in the Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam Pooja is the most
reliable information. The 11 Rudras are as follows:
1. Mahadeva
2. Shiva
3. Maha Rudra
4. Shankara
5. Neelalohita
6. Eeshana Rudra
7. Vijaya Rudra
8. Bheema Rudra
9. Devadeva,
10. Bhavodbhava
11. Adityatmaka Srirudra
