If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Our Easter sermon focused on not only choosing to die with Christ by putting to "death" the power of sin in our lives, but to also choose to take up the new life He has for us - for you!

In that moment, He completed the work of redemption—taking our place and bearing the punishment for our sin so that we could receive forgiveness and eternal life through Him. ❣️

Pastor Aaron shared this powerful truth with four local churches as we gathered for the Lenten Luncheon, held each Wednesday at 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church in Ballston Spa leading up until Easter.

Happy New Year! As we step into this new year, we thank God for His faithfulness behind us and trust His guidance ahead of us.

The enemy’s greatest desire is to separate you from God. And he will start that process the minute he separates you from God’s Word. Satan knows if he can isolate us, he can intimidate us. Influence us. Confuse us. Deceive us. And ultimately make us believe the safer paths in life are ones apart from God and our friends who serve Him.

The next time the enemy is lying to you, trying to twist God’s words or lure you into a trap, you can immediately shut him down by proclaiming: God, Your Word is my greatest treasure. Your ways are my greatest joy. And You, God, are my greatest love.

And then open up His Word and let His Truth set you free.
