From Lake Ivie Baptist Association, we want to wish each one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Nww Year. Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. For 400 years, between the book of Malachi and the gospel of Matthew, God had not spoken. But when he did speak, it was the wail of a baby born in a stable that changed the world! God bless

REMINDER: Our Lake Ivie Baptist Association Annual Meeting is SUNDAY, 4 pm. We will have a business session from about 4:00-4:30, then start the music shortly thereafter. From 4:30-5:00 the praise team from FBC Winters will be worship through music, followed by Ralph Howell from Valera BC at about 5:05-5:15, followed by Bluff Creek Cowboy Church praise team about 5:20-5:55.
We will then break from dinner around 6:00, then have more music by the Seventh Street BC praise team from about 6:45-7:15, followed by Dan and LInda Maynard at 7:15-7:25, and finally, the Millersview Gospel Band will take the stage about 7:30 and conclude around 8:00.

Please pray for our pastor/wife retreat starting tomorrow afternoon and going through Saturday at noon. Pray that our pastors and wives are rejuvenated, refreshed, encouraged and edified at this time. God bless
