Yesterday in Ecclesiastes 5:1–7, we were reminded that worship is not about performance or empty words; it’s about reverence. “God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.” When we truly remember who God is, it changes the way we approach Him.

As you start your week, remember that even in the dry places, God still brings beauty. Even a prickly pear blooms with flowers in the Texas heat. So slow down long enough to remember who it is you worship! The gospel reminds us that this holy God made a way for us to come near through Jesus…not to pretend, but to worship with humble and honest hearts.

Not just your name.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 reminds us; two are better than one. We weren’t made to do life alone.

Real life change happens when we move from rows… to relationships.
From showing up… to opening up.

So…who knows you?

So grateful tonight for the kind of people who make the Church feel like home!

After long, hard days, (even at the end of April) amazing volunteers still show up to church with smiles; serve up a whole lot of chalupas, teach our kids, and pour into them! Grateful for folks who show up and point our kids to Jesus, and remind them they matter.

Some of our youth group loaded up to assist our friends at the Carnagie as it prepares for a birthday celebration…Super grateful for our kids!

Runnels county sunsets are a good reminder that…God knows the beginning and the end, so you can trust him in the middle.

Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that life establishes rhythms like the wheat in the fields and the sun rising and setting; there is a time for every season.
If you’re in a season of abundance…be grateful.
If you’re in a season of loss…be faithful.

No matter the season, we serve a God who is always good and always in control.

I love Sunday mornings. I love the sound of voices lifted together, the stillness of prayer, the reminder that we belong to something bigger than ourselves.

However, there’s something just as sacred…maybe even more beautiful about this. About sitting around tables, sharing meals, studying scripture, laughing, carrying each other’s burdens, and showing up in the middle of real life.

Our faith was never meant to live only in pews… it was meant to live around tables.
In the good moments, and in the hard ones, in the conversations, the check-ins, the “are you okay?” and the “I’ve got you.”

This is the beauty of the Church…not just gathering to worship, but walking through life together. If you aren’t a part of a community group; we’d love for you to join in!
