We want to take a moment to say thank you to our incredible community.

When our memorial angel was stolen last November, yalls prayers, kind words, and concern meant so much to our church family. We appreciate the love and support yall showed during this time. We're grateful to share that Taylor's memorial angel has been replaced, a memorial plaque has been added, and security cameras have been updated to help protect it in the future.

Thank you all again for standing with us, praying for us, and reminding us what a caring community we are blessed to be a part of. May God bless each of yall.

For decades, KRUN Radio has been more than just a radio station; it has been a trusted voice in our community, connecting neighbors, sharing local news, celebrating milestones, and bringing people together across Ballinger and the surrounding area.

At First Methodist Church of Ballinger, we are especially grateful for the ministry partnership we have shared with KRUN through the years. Through their broadcasts of our Sunday morning services, the message of Jesus Christ reached countless homes, hospital rooms, workplaces, farms, and ranches throughout our area. Week after week, they helped us extend our ministry beyond the walls of our church and into the lives of people who may have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As KRUN signs off for the final time, we pause to give thanks for the faithful service they have provided to our community and for the role they played in sharing the hope, love, and saving grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Their impact cannot be measured simply in years on the air, but in the lives they touched and the hearts they helped point toward God.

To everyone who worked at KRUN thru-out the years, thank you. Your work mattered, and your legacy will continue to be felt throughout Ballinger and the surrounding area for years to come.

"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" Philippians 1: 3-5

In Christ,
First Methodist Church of Ballinger
