Had one of those days when nothing went right. Breaking off fish, wind knots, getting snagged you name it. So I decided to duck into a quiet cove and re tie when a guy Reed in a jet ski pulls up to my boat. I’m thinking, Oh great just what I need .
After some small talk he starts talking about his life and how he caught his wife in adultry, tried to commit su***de, drugs etc…. But then Jesus saved him! He still has hatred in his heart so I told him if you have Jesus in your heart then there’s no room for hatred. Jesus showed forgiveness, mercy , grace and love. Then after a brief silence he asked me to pray for him. After praying he lifted his head, had tears in his eyes, wished me well and drove off. I guess today I wasn’t supposed to be catching fish…… go figure! Just never know when the Lord will send someone your way that needs prayer.
