IT’S TIME TO GIVE CHEROKEE THE BIRD! 🦃

Every Thanksgiving, Action Church takes on one of our favorite outreach projects of the entire year, and it's time to do it again!

Each year, we provide 100% of the Thanksgiving meals for Meals on Wheels in Cherokee County. We don't just donate a few items. We provide the food, cook the food, and prepare the meals so the Meals on Wheels team can deliver them on Thanksgiving morning.

It's a HUGE undertaking, but this is exactly who we are as a church.

See a need. Meet a need.

This Sunday, we will have sign-up sheets at the Merch Table for everyone who wants to be part of making Thanksgiving special for people throughout our community.

There are TWO ways you can help!

🦃 ITEMS TO BRING IN AHEAD OF TIME:

• 300 cans of green beans
• 300 cans of corn
• 125 large boxes of instant mashed potatoes
• 150 large jars of turkey gravy
• 125 cans of cranberry sauce

🦃 ITEMS TO BRING COOKED ON THANKSGIVING MORNING:

• 40 pans (13x9) of macaroni and cheese
• 40 pans (13x9) of dressing
• 75 sheet cakes (13x9)

That's a LOT of food, and it's going to take a LOT of people stepping up to make it happen.

But here's what we love about Action Church. When there's a need in our community, we don't spend a bunch of time talking about what somebody should do.

WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

We believe the church should be known for what it gives to its community, not what it takes from it.

And what better way to spend Thanksgiving than making sure people in our community have a meal to enjoy?

Come ready to sign up THIS SUNDAY at the Merch Table!

Let's show Cherokee County what it looks like when a church puts love into ACTION!

Love God. Love People. Take Action.

Tomorrow is WEEK 2 of GRAVEYARDS at Action Church, and we are going after another area of our lives that far too many people have given up hope on!

💀 DEAD FINANCES 💀

Debt. Financial stress. Living paycheck to paycheck. Feeling like no matter how hard you work, you can never get ahead.

What if I told you that the way you’re living financially doesn’t have to be the way you live forever?

Last week, we talked about bringing dead faith back to life. Tomorrow, we’re talking about how biblical principles can help us bring our finances back from the grave!

We believe dead things can live again, and that includes your finances!

A COUPLE OF REMINDERS FOR TOMORROW:

📍 BE IN THE GYM! Join us at the Historic Ball Ground Gym at 10 AM. Come early, grab some coffee, and connect with some great people.

❤️ BRING YOUR DONATIONS! We’re continuing to collect donations for Dominic’s Pantry. At Action Church, we don’t just talk about making a difference in our community. We actually DO something about it!

Tomorrow is going to be a GREAT Sunday at Action Church!

Bring somebody with you. There’s a seat waiting for you, and we can’t wait to see you!

SUNDAY, LET’S FILL THE PANTRY!

Action Church, a reminder before you head into the weekend. When you come to church Sunday, DON’T COME EMPTY-HANDED.

Dominic’s Mission reached out with an urgent need for food to help restock their pantry. Families in our community are struggling, shelves are emptying faster, and the need is growing.

So this Sunday, we’re responding.

Grab a bag this weekend and fill it with canned goods, pasta, ramen, mac & cheese, grits, peanut butter, snacks, or other shelf-stable foods. Then bring it with you Sunday morning.

No complicated program. No months of planning.

There’s a need. We can help meet it.

We’re called ACTION Church for a reason.

See a need. Meet a need.

Let’s show up BIG Sunday and FILL THAT PANTRY! ❤️

Sunday is coming, and the set list is 🔥.

My Church.
This Is Amazing Grace.
Jesus Paid It All.
I Thank God.
Blessed Assurance.

Come ready to SING!

We’re also continuing our GRAVEYARDS series with Part 2, and we’re going to get incredibly practical about what God’s Word says about the areas of our lives we’ve allowed to die.

AND DON’T FORGET THE FOOD!

Dominic’s Mission reached out with an urgent need to help restock their food pantry. Grab a bag, fill it with non-perishable food, and bring it with you Sunday morning.

Worship loud.
Bring some food.
Invite somebody.
Come expecting God to move.

URGENT + LAST MINUTE NEED!

Action Church, let’s do what we do.

Dominic’s Mission is in immediate need of the food items pictured, or similar non-perishable items, to help restock their pantry.

We are living in a time where families in our community are struggling in ways we haven’t seen in years. Food pantries are being stretched thin, shelves are emptying faster, and more people are walking through their doors needing help.

We know this is last minute. We know Sunday is only a few days away.

But this is exactly when the Church should be the Church.

So when you come to Action this Sunday, don’t come empty-handed. Grab a bag. Fill it with canned goods, pasta, ramen, mac & cheese, grits, peanut butter, snacks, or other shelf-stable foods and bring it with you.

Let’s FILL THE PANTRY this Sunday.

We’re called ACTION Church for a reason.

We don’t just talk about loving our community.

We put our love into ACTION.

See a need. Meet a need.

Let’s show up BIG this Sunday.

This Sunday is Part 2 of our GRAVEYARDS series at Action Church.

And we don’t say this lightly...

If you come with the right heart, ready to listen and ready to actually apply what you hear, this might be one of the most life-changing messages we’ve taught in the last year.

At Action, we believe in practical preaching.

The Bible is alive.

It’s not an outdated history book filled with stories about people who lived thousands of years ago. It’s a roadmap for your life TODAY.

Your marriage.
Your money.
Your relationships.
Your decisions.
Your struggles.
Your future.

Whatever question you’re asking, God’s Word has something to say about it.

The problem is, too often we teach the Bible like a history lesson instead of the life-changing book it was meant to be.

This Sunday, we’re going to get VERY practical.

Bring an open heart.
Bring something to take notes with.
And maybe bring the courage to make some changes.

We’ll see you Sunday at Action Church.

LET’S BRAG ON GOD! 🙌

Sometimes we spend so much time talking about what’s wrong, what we need, what we’re praying for, and what we’re waiting on God to do that we forget to talk about what He’s ALREADY DONE.

So let’s change that today.

We want to hear some GOOD NEWS.

What has God done in your life lately? What prayer has He answered? What door did He open? What did He provide? Where have you seen Him show up?

Big or small, drop it in the comments.

Somebody scrolling today might need to hear YOUR story to be reminded that God is still moving.

Let’s fill these comments up.

BRAG ON GOD! 🙌
