Join us for EASTER 2026. We will begin with Sunrise Service at 7:00, followed by breakfast and an egg hunt for the kids, young and not so young. And then we will join together at 10:00 for a time of celebration and worship. We serve a risen Savior and His name is Jesus. And we hope you will join us to lift up His life giving name. What does God have in store for you? He does have a plan, you know. And though Ruth couldn’t see it at the time, He had a plan for her, and was already working it out. That’s what we’re talking about this Sunday morning. We meet at 925 Ripley Rd in Baldwyn at 10:30. ‘Where Christ is Making the Difference’

What a week it’s been. Some have struggled with warmth and food and water, and many still are because of the ice storm. But little by little the roads are being cleared, and the water and electricity are being restored. And in time this will be just another storm we endured.
Tomorrow we will continue our study in Ruth- ‘Handfuls of Purpose’. Naomi, and her daughters in law are in one of those difficult seasons of life. Thankfully, it is only a season. And though she can’t see it yet, the Lord is busy at work in her life.
He is busy at work in yours too. And though you might not see it yet, trust Him; trust His plan and His timing. Trust His Word and the fact that He does not forsake His saints. Remember Peter’s words- “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 1:6-7.

Due to the inclement weather across our region, we are not having services today or Wednesday. We hope everyone is safe and will have their power restored soon. And maybe this will be all of our winter weather in one big dose, followed by an early Spring. :)
One thing is certain, God is still in control, and His love for each of us is without fail. And the closer we draw near to Him, the more He draws closer to us, revealing His love and and devotion to those who put their trust in HIm. It seems to take hard times for us to do that; times when we can longer depend upon our own abilities. The Bible teaches us to rejoice in such times, for in them we grow in faith and patience, maturing Spiritually. He also teaches us to ask HIm for guidance as we go through our trials and troubles. And as He directs your steps, trust the Lord for the outcome.
I realize that some are experiencing loss because of this ice storm, but try to trust in God's provision, and the fact that He holds tomorrow in His hands. Yes, this is tough, but you can make it through with the Lord's help.
Let's remember to pray for one another, and to be a help as we have opportunity.
