St. Augustine’s, St. Mary’s, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishes will celebrate a Mass on the Grass on the St. Augustine’s church grounds on Saturday, August 22nd at 4:00. After Mass there will be multiple food trucks, fun and games for kids, karaoke, and trivia. It’s a wonderful opportunity to worship together outside and enjoy this vibrant community.
Things to Know
Mass will be held outside rain or shine under a big tent on the lawn. There will another tent offering more covered space for sitting and dining, and the parish hall will also be open for seating, streaming of the Mass, dining space, and cookies and coffee. Accessible rest rooms are located in the parish hall, and there will be a rest room trailer on the lawn.
Food Drive: There will be no official collection during Mass, but we are asking everyone to please bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation for the Baldwinsville Food Pantry. Donations may be left at the reception table on the way into Mass.
Parking: In addition to the St. Augustine’s parking lot, we may park at Catherine McNamara Elementary School across the street from the church. If you are able, we ask you to please park there and cross O’Brien Road at the marked cross walk. We would like to prioritize the St. Augustine’s parking lot for people who require handicapped parking or simply need closer access to the event. We will have parking guides and a drop-off point in the parking lot.
What to Bring: While there will be a limited number of chairs set up under the big tent for those who need them, we ask you to please bring your own chair, a donation for the food pantry, a joyful spirit, and an appetite. All are welcome. Bring a friend - or two! - and carpool, if possible.
Only Saturday Mass in Baldwinsville: This will be the only Saturday Mass celebrated in Baldwinsville on that date. We sincerely hope all will join us in this celebration!
