A rich word, fellowship and holy communion lifted hearts at Trinity United Methodist Church on Sunday

Trinity United Methodist Church members were blessed this morning with a sermon by Pastor Darlene Moore titled "You Should Repent" taken from Acts 3:13-15.
The message included a call to not let the outside world stop you from repenting from doing things outside of your Christian Character. Jesus was the perfect example of forgiving others when he hung on the cross and said "Forgive them Father For They Know Not What They Do"
Pastor Moore also acknowledged the men in today's service in whom she described as " village keepers" and prayed for students testing this week.
Jennifer Lanceslin told the congregation about Autism Awareness Month.
And we sung Happy Birthday to Diana Vincent whose birthday was April 5th and Brenda Thomas April 22nd

Today marked the 1st day of a new covenant entered into by members of St. Peter, Trinity, and Asbury United Methodist Church to read the bible in 90 days. May God's hand remain upon us as we make it our mission to learn more of him.

Several women of faith that's making an impact on the community received a special recognition for the month of March by Pastor Darlene Moore. March is Women in History month.
Those recognized included Baldwin Mayor Donna Lewis Lanceslin, Jeanerette Mayor April Foulcard, Wanda Ceasar and UMCOR Executive Director Amy Fuselier. Not pictured are Librarian Debbie Box, Prayer Band Member Eliza Collins ( who the week 6 service was dedicated to) and Administrative Council Chair Virginia Collins
