There’s a reason isolation and secrecy go together so often, the enemy knows that what stays hidden stays powerful over you.

💭 Real Talk: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another.” - 1 John 1:7

The moment you bring something into the light, to God, to a trusted friend, to your small group, it starts to lose its grip.

What Being Known Actually Requires:

âś… Choosing one safe person to be honest with
âś… Sharing the struggle, not just the victory
âś… Letting yourself be helped instead of just helping others
âś… Trusting that grace is bigger than your secret

💙 You don’t have to carry it alone anymore. That was never the plan.

Let’s plant this verse deep as we go deeper into community this month:

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” - 1 John 1:7

* “Walk in the LIGHT” (no hiding!)
* “As HE is in the light” (God’s standard, not ours!)
* “FELLOWSHIP with one another” (the reward of honesty!)
* “PURIFIES us from all sin” (grace meets our honesty!)

🎯 Why this verse NOW? Real fellowship can’t happen in the dark. When we walk in the light together, we don’t just get connection, we get cleansing too.

Fellowship - real connection - only happens in the light. Not in the shadows where we hide our struggles.
