Matthew 17:20 ….Because of your Unbelief ….

Have you ever wondered why the “old church” witnessed numerous miracles and divine healings? It’s something I’ve been pondering lately. It’s not as if God has changed; He declared, “I do not change.” So, perhaps the miracles haven’t occurred because it’s not God’s power that has weakened, but rather our own unbelief. We’ve become so modern that we may have distanced ourselves from the belief required to witness the extraordinary feats of God. The Bible states, “Nothing is impossible with Him.” Let’s examine this in a way that’s not offensive or disturbing. Let’s be honest and admit that when something doesn’t happen when we want it, we either try to do it ourselves or seek assistance from others. Lastly, we struggle to hold onto the fact that God can do all things. Perhaps it’s not God’s power that’s lacking, but rather our need for recalibration and unwavering faith. We must believe without wavering and even fast to manifest the impossible. So, without rushing, take a moment to truly believe with all your heart, not just in words, but in the conviction that God can do what He wills. When I can’t see it, I simply say, “Lord, help my unbelief.” Let’s begin this season with a belief in the impossible because it matters because God can. It matters that I believe …. 🩷

Monday Matters

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…
Psalm 23:6

David writes this to himself, but its significance extends beyond his life. God’s goodness, favor, faithfulness, and fortunes will accompany us throughout our lives. We often overlook the fact that His words transcend David’s time and apply to us as well. Mercy is His ability to offer me another chance to get it right. What truly blesses me is that goodness and mercy are always present in my life. They are like top-tier kingdom security guards that never leave their post, always ready to protect and intervene at any moment. Therefore, know that nothing but goodness and mercy have got you covered. Approach this time with confidence, knowing that nothing else truly matters when He’s got you favored and protected. ❤️
