So this year has already been full of many exciting changes in our student ministry. The Y.E.S. Ministry has grown, and we have been able to serve over 25 people in the Baldwin Area. The Youth room has gotten some upgrades. And Our attendance has increased.
We now would like to announce that the Ministry is changing its name from Reflection Youth to BBC Students.
This has been preceded by months of prayer and consultation.
Why you ask?
Because the Youth of the Church are part of this Church. They are not a separate entity from the church, they are not lesser in the eyes of God. Thus, we seek to become more united than ever as a Body of believers. We also hope that the momentum of excitement for the gospel, in the youth group, could break out into the entire church.
It is our prayer that the the Youth of this church will so impact the rest of the body, that it inspires everyone to seek a deeper impact in the Local Community.
So we believe our name should mirror our convictions and purpose. We will not quit Reflecting Jesus to the World, but now we plan to do it alongside the entirety of Baldwin Baptist Church.
