I was a part of a discussion some days ago on here that brought up the timing of the rapture of the church and how A/G ministers might answer questions on renewal forms. In that discussion, one post declared that the Assemblies of God does not take a stance on the timing of this catching away and that our movement doesn't necessarily have an opinion. According to the Position Papers of the Assemblies of God (can be found on our national website under the tab beliefs), we do hold a position that the rapture will be a pre-tribulation catching away of the saints to meet the Lord in the air. I know that there are a good many that will read this and choose to make negative comments. That is your right. I won't argue the points. I know that I am looking for His return, and whenever He does come for His church, I will be ready to go home.

Almost 3 years ago, Covid 19 came calling. I wound up in the hospital instead of being at District Council. The doctor said that I had covid and meningitis, but he didn't realize that there was another doctor taking care of me. That Tuesday started with the hope of just being able to eat and get rid of the almost unbearable headache. I still can't give you a logical description of what happened as I listened to What a Beautiful Name/ Break Every Chain, but I know that hospital room became something more. The sweet presence of the King filled that place, and my body was 100% healed. The doctor would confirm it later that day. He said you had covid and meningitis yesterday, but you are clear from both today. 48 years earlier, the King had walked into a hospital room and astounded the doctors when they had given me no chance of survival. I don't know why He has chosen to heal me the way He has, but I can tell you that I will spend my days telling folks about His goodness and power.

If you read this and you're going through something, please know that the same God that has healed me over and over is still in the business of speaking life into dead situations. He is making a way for you today!!!

If you don't have a church home, we would love for you to celebrate Resurrection Sunday with us at Bald K**b First Assembly of God. We will have a special schedule this week. We will have a continental breakfast starting at 8 am, and Sunday School will follow at 9 am. Morning worship will begin at 10 am.
