Hey everyone!! Even though it is VBS week, we will still be meeting up for our regularly scheduled Renown 🫡

Tonight, our very own Chris Bradford will be bringing the message. He will be going through Psalm 130 preaching on why we should wait on the Lord even through our hardest moments.

AND because today is the hottest day of the week, we will be serving ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cones! You don’t want to miss it ☀️

Tonight, Brandon will be finishing off our series in Hosea in a message called “The Gospel In Hosea.” Even though it is an Old Testament book, the message of the gospel is central to the storyline of the Bible. We will end by examining our hearts and lives to see if the way we have been living matches up with our profession.

Brandon will be preaching from Hosea 11:1-11 in a sermon entitled, “A Look Into God’s Heart.” In this passage, God shares with us His heart and His love for His people. We will be talking about how when we understand how much God loves us, we cannot help but respond in obedience.

Happy Thursday!! We are excited to see you tonight 🤩

Brandon will be continuing his series in Hosea 8-10 in a sermon entitled “Don’t Trust in Your Own Way.”

By nature, we are constantly tempted to do things on our own, doing what we want and when we want to do it. We have the tendency to plan our lives and our futures without considering or asking God. God shares with us in His word that when we do things on our own and exclude him, we are actually disobedient and will face consequences for our actions. Tonight, we will be learning about how when we trust in our own way instead of God’s, we will face the consequences for our actions.

Hey Renown! Tonight we are excited to welcome our very own Braeden Logsdon as he brings us a message from 1 John 2:15-17 entitled “Loving the Eternal, not the Temporal.”
We will be looking at how we should love God with everything we have and to not love the things of this world.

Hey everyone!! We will be serving FREE CHICK-FIL-A tonight!! Come get fed with the Lord’s chicken and with the Lord’s Word.

Tonight, Brandon will be preaching from Hosea 5-7:16 in a sermon entitled, “What am I going to do with you?” In tonight’s passage we see God grieving over His people. He wants to save them, change them, and restore them, but they are prideful. In this sermon, we will be talking about how pride causes us to be shallow and inconsistent in our relationship with God.

Brandon will be preaching from Hosea 4:1-19 in a sermon entitled “When God’s Word is Gone.” In this passage, the people of Israel had rejected and forgotten God’s word, causing them to stumble and drift in their relationship with God. Tonight, we will be talking about the consequences of forgetting God’s word in a Christian’s life and why we should read the Bible.

Important announcement 🤪

Tonight college group will be a guy’s only night! Our favorite high school intern Corey Joslin will be preaching a sermon on Biblical manhood followed by breakout groups led by our male leaders. We will also be serving Buffalo Wild Wings and soda. Doors open at 6:30, service starts at 7 pm.

The ladies will be attending the women’s ministry event Night of Identity at 5 pm in the Olive Drive Sanctuary. We will share in Scripture, song, and personal experiences that will leave you encouraged as a daughter of the King!
