1. We recognize that our governing authorities do not hold the same deeply held religious values as we do.
2. This is why we repudiate our governor’s self-appointed authorities to determine how, where, when, and why we continue to meet.
3. Our religious beliefs are set forth in the word of God, and this proves to be our authority.
4. The CCB board vetoes these orders that violate our rights to express our faith and our deeply held religious values that we practice openly and without fear of retribution.
5. It is only for the love of our people and our community that we will continue to follow CDC guidelines while meeting together, not because of the government’s attempt to control our lives by taking away our liberty and freedom.
6. We will offer indoor seating as well as outdoor seating for those who are considered high risk. We will offer a face mask section in the foyer, and we will continue to have those serving in a high-contact area wear masks and gloves. We will continue to sanitize before and after all services. Finally, we will continue to do no contact offering by not passing the offering bags around as well as no contact communion to limit physical contact.
7. We also encourage those who are considered high risk to remain home and fellowship with us in spirit and online.
8. We ask that everyone who has symptoms of any illness or COVID to please stay home, or we will have to ask you to return home upon arrival.
9. We will continue to worship openly and invite people to sing along if they desire to.
10. What we do today will set the course for future generations, if the Lord should tarry.
With abounding love,
Pastor Rick
