It is with heavy hearts and deep hope in Christ that we share that David J. Wilkerson went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 1, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at RiverLakes Community Church on Monday, May 11th at 10:30 AM, followed by a time of lunch and fellowship.

On Thursday, the day before he passed, Dave gathered with a group of men he had invited to lunch. He shared a burden the Lord had placed on his heart—to start a charitable fund to help those facing financial hardship. With passion and clarity, he laid out the vision and asked those men if they would help carry it forward.

The very next day, Friday, Jesus called his name, and he went home to be with his Lord.

In honor of Dave and the vision God placed on his heart, we invite all who knew and loved him to help make that desire a reality. In lieu of flowers, please consider joyfully giving to Dove Creek Bible Church and designating your gift to “Wilkies Wish”this will allow us to designate a specific benevolence fund created to continue his legacy of generosity and care.
