Why do we recite the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer in unison? 🙏

In this episode of “The Why Behind Worship,” we explore why we recite the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer together and how these shared words connect us to the foundations of our faith.

Join Pastor Marcos as he explains the “why” behind these traditions and how confessing what we believe and praying together unites us as a church family, strengthens our faith, and reminds us of the truth and promises of God.

It was a joyous celebration on Sunday with the baptism of Alex Martinez! 🙌

Alex was going through our New Members class and didn’t recall ever being baptized. So she did a little digging to confirm, and it was not long after that she reached out to Pastor Marcos wanting to make it happen.

Baptism is so special. You are being washed clean and made new in Christ Jesus. It is a profession of your faith in front of the body of the church! And as the church, we are to look after one another and point each other towards Christ every day.

Congratulations, Alex! We are so happy that you’ve taken this next step in your relationship with Jesus and we are excited for how he will continue to move in and through your life.

If you are looking to get baptized, please reach out! We’d love to help you take that next step in your journey.
