More than a potluck — it’s family! 🫶

Last Sunday, we celebrated Pentecost and held a congregational meeting followed by a potluck in Westminster Hall! Everyone brought different delicious side dishes and it truly felt like a First Pres family gathering. We loved catching up with you all!

Our Ascension Day worship service was such a powerful and meaningful time together. Not only did we celebrate Christ’s Ascension into heaven, but we also witnessed the beauty of unity in the body of Christ as 3 churches came together in worship.

Despite our differences, we serve one God, worship one Savior, and belong to one Kingdom. What a beautiful reminder that our differences should never divide us, but instead unite us in love for the Father and for one another. ❤️✝️

It’s official!! The search is over! We have a new Children’s Ministry Director! 🎉

We are very pleased to welcome Carrie Wright to our team! If you’ve been attending First Pres, she’s probably a familiar face to you. Carrie and her family have been attending First Pres, and to know them is to love them. 🫶

We can’t wait to officially bring her on board on Sunday, June 28th! Until then, please be praying for her as she steps into this new role. We’re so excited! 😊
