Christmas can be a busy time with shopping, parties and decorating. But it’s important to take some time and reflect on the true meaning of the holiday.

A few months back we planned to celebrate the end of summer with a Hawaiian Sunday. Given the current situation in Hawaii, we felt it was appropriate to move forward with this time of fellowship. We took time to pray for the families that are going through this terrible time. We worshipped our God with Ukuleles and praise. We enjoyed shaved ice, lawn games and the fellowship of believers (and some guests). We also presented 6 new members in front of the church and welcomed them to our church family! Thank you Kona Ice of Central Bakersfield!
