Join us for our Fall Kickoff Men’s Gathering on Friday, August 23rd, from 6:00pm-8:30pm. We’ll be having dinner for our first gathering, worship, teaching, and hangout time — you won’t want to miss it!

We’ll also be signing up for men’s discipleship in groups, and opening up registration for Men’s Retreat 2024.

Men don’t miss out on this night together! (Friends encouraged as well!) We’re limiting this gathering to high school and above - so older sons are welcome.

Jesus wept on three occasions:

- He wept at the death of Lazarus, a friend that He loved.
- He wept over Jerusalem, the city that rejected Him.
- He wept in the garden, tears mingled with blood at the cost of the cross (Heb 5:7).

A man who weeps for the world is a gift to the world.

If God is at work when the tears come, I am asking for more tears.

We need to be baptized again in our own tears.

Tears of repentance.
Tears of joy.
Tears of heartache.
Tears of love.

We know about the baptism in water, a declaration of our salvation.
We know about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, our source for power.
But so few know about the baptism of tears.

I am praying God breaks your heart this week.

I am praying that He opens your heart to His heart.

Join us at The Bridge Bible Church for a special Men’s Gathering on Sunday, April 28th, from 6:00pm-8:30pm, with our guest speaker Pastor . Jon Tyson is a pastor at Church of the City NY, and the co-founder of Forming Men (a discipleship ministry for men) with . They are launching a book, “Fighting Shadows: Overcoming the 7 Lies That Keep Men from Becoming Fully Alive,” on May 21 — but by coming to this event, you will leave with a copy in your hands THAT NIGHT.

The event will include dinner, fellowship, worship, teaching from Pastor Jon, and prayer and worship time. We believe this night will be catalytic for the men of God’s Kingdom to gather together and press back against the world and the Enemy’s influence, and be grounded in Jesus. Will you join us? The cost is $20, but that covers dinner and the book “Fighting Shadows” (which will sell for $28.99 on Amazon). This event is open for high school students and above.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

Read that again.

In our culture, we value fast. We value instant satisfaction and immediate reward. Mix into that our radical individualism and the cultural belief that a man is self-sustaining... and you've got a recipe for each of us to be isolated and alone. But that's not how God intended it to be.

In the Kingdom of God, we live counter-formative lives to our world. We are called to follow in the way of our rabbi, Jesus, who did life at 3 miles per hour. He did life walking the roads and hillsides in close proximity with friends, His disciples.

And that's what we're going to be unpacking in our "Train for Godliness" series at this Friday's Kickoff Gathering: the spiritual practice of fellowship. So join us for an incredible night of dinner, fellowship, games, worship, and teaching. Not only that -- we're opening our Men's Retreat registration! NOT ONLY THAT -- it's going to be the cheapest registration for Friday night ONLY... and then it goes up on Saturday morning. So come, join us, 6pm-8:30pm!

We will be getting away for a time of fun, refreshment, rest, and equipping in the San Bernadino Mountains at Forest Home Christian Camp (about 3 hours 30 minutes south of Bakersfield). Our weekend will include impactful sessions of worship and teaching, breakout sessions to equip and empower us to go deeper, and free time with activities around camp to connect with the men of The Bridge! We are expectant that God is going to meet us and move in us.

EARLY BIRD PRICE of $200 (AVAILABLE THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30th)

Prices include 2 nights of lodging and 5 meals. All of the activities (zip line, high ropes, climbing wall, horseshoes, mini-golf, ping pong, etc.) are included in the price of the weekend. Forest Home does have a snack shop and gift shop, so some spending money would be recommended.

Join us as we do our next all Bridge Men's Gathering on Friday, April 8th, from 6pm-9pm. We will be picking up where Men's Retreat left off; worship, games, and grub! This will be a simple night to gather as men, eat dinner, hear from some brothers in Christ, praise the Lord together, and then PLAY GAMES (board games, card games, Mafia, etc.)!

MEN! Our Men's Retreat is fast approaching, and you're not going to want to miss out on an opportunity to spend a weekend with brothers in the faith, connecting with God and connecting with each other.

We will be getting away for a time of fun, refreshment, rest, and equipping at Forest Home Christian Camp.
