What makes a Cowboy Church different? Well I am so glad you asked.
First of all-it ain't at all religious. No legalism only acceptance and love.
Second-we don't thump the Bible, Pass out Gospel tracts, or preach at people. We just help people and let God draw them.
Third-you can wear your cowboy duds, and yer hat, in the service. But you don't have to be a cowboy, a cowgirl, or a horsey person. All are welcome.
Fourth-we don't take offerings. There is a horse feed bucket on the back table and you drop in if you feel like it.
Fifth-we don't usually carry Bibles to church services.
Sixth-There are no ushers.
and ...Seventh-we don't like churchy lookin' buildings...we like the barn look.

We are interested in planting Cowboy Churches up and down the San Joaquin Valley. In order to facilitate that we are beginning an actual school to train Cowboy Church Pastors starting in September 2016. If you do this please include:
1. The exact area of California you live in
2. The information that verifies there is a population that might gravitate to it
3. The overall population of the area
4. If there are rodeo facilities there or non-churchy lookin' buildings we could rent.
5. if there have been any cowboy churches in the area that failed.

COWBOY CHURCH FOLKS ARE ALSO STRONG PATRIOTS. This movement is NOT RELIGIOUS. Our attitude toward people is gracious and loving. We accept all people. We don't play HOLY SPIRIT, JR. We let the Holy Spirit change people. We are not called to do that. We are called to love them as Jesus did.
