In honor of Mother’s Day Sunday we want to say this to every mama in our church and community.
To the mama with little hands pulling at her all day…
To the mama raising teenagers and praying harder than ever…
To the grandma who stepped in and became mama all over again…
To the spiritual mama pouring into children God placed in your path…
To the mama whose nest feels a little emptier these days…
To the mama still praying for prodigals…
To the mama carrying grief for the child in heaven…
And to the woman whose heart longs to be called “Mama”…
We see you.
And more importantly God sees you.
He sees the meals made with love, even when you’re exhausted. He sees the tears that fall after everyone else has gone to bed. He hears the whispered prayers over bedrooms, ball fields, school hallways, hospital rooms, and kitchen tables. He sees the faith it takes to keep loving, keep giving, keep believing even on the hard days.
Mama, there are seeds you’ve planted in prayer that you may not see blooming yet but heaven has not forgotten a single one.
So if today feels heavy, if motherhood feels beautiful and heartbreaking all at once, if your heart is full or hurting, just know this:
Your labor is not in vain.
Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears.
Your tears are not wasted.
And your God is still writing the story.
From your church family—thank you for every prayer, every sacrifice, every act of love, and every generation you’re helping point toward Jesus. ❤️
“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.” — Psalm 126:5
