🌧️ CHURCH SERVICE CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER 🌧️

After keeping an eye on the weather conditions, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s service out of an abundance of caution.

Your safety is important to us, and we don’t want anyone taking unnecessary risks on the roads. Please stay home and stay safe!

We love you all and are praying for everyone’s safety! We’ll see you Sunday!

Naomis, rise up. The Ruths desperately need you.

There is a generation that is not asking for another celebrity.

They are crying out for mothers.

Not mothers in title, but mothers in spirit.

Women who have walked through famine and still found God's faithfulness.

Women who have buried dreams, endured disappointments, survived betrayals, and yet still carry oil in their lamps.

Women who know what it is to wrestle through the night and still lift their hands in worship when the morning comes.

The Ruths are crying, "Show us the way."

Psalm 145 declares, "One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts."

That is not merely a suggestion, it is a Kingdom mandate.

Naomi, you have seen what many of us have only read about.

You have watched God heal.
You have witnessed miraculous provision.
You have seen prayer meetings that shook buildings, altars filled with repentance, and the fire of the Holy Spirit fall upon hungry people.

You have stories that our generation desperately needs to hear.

Tell us about the wonders of old.
Tell us about the faithfulness of the Lord.
Tell us what He did when there was no way.

Tell us what it cost to carry the oil.

We are living in a generation with endless information but very little impartation.

We have podcasts, books, and social media, but many have never had a Naomi take them by the hand and teach them how to recognize the voice of God, how to wait in His presence, how to contend in prayer, how to carry holiness, and how to remain faithful when the harvest seems delayed.

The Kingdom has never advanced through information alone.

It advances through impartation.

Ruth never became who she was called to be apart from Naomi.

Naomi showed her where to glean.
Naomi taught her the customs of the Kingdom.
Naomi positioned her for her Boaz.

And because Naomi poured into one hungry daughter, an entire bloodline was changed.

Ruth became the great grandmother of David, and through that lineage came Christ Himself.

Never underestimate what can happen when one spiritual mother says yes.

Naomis, your assignment is not over because your hair has turned gray.

Your greatest ministry may not be what you preached twenty years ago.

It may be who you raise up today.

There are Ruths standing beside you saying exactly what Ruth declared, “where you go, I will go. Where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God."

They are not looking for perfection.

They are looking for someone willing to walk with them.

Someone willing to say, "I've been where you are. Let me show you how the Lord brought me through."

The Body of Christ does not simply need more platforms.

It needs more mothers.

More Naomis who are willing to slow down enough to disciple, to encourage, to correct with love, to pray, to impart, and to leave behind more than memories, they leave behind mantles.

Naomis, rise up.

The Ruths desperately need you.

Your testimony is someone else's survival.
Your wisdom is someone else's breakthrough.
Your scars are someone else's roadmap.

The generation behind you is already reaching for your hand.

Don't let them grow up without hearing of the mighty acts of God.

Break open the way.
Lift high the banner of His faithfulness.
Tell us of the Lord your God.

We'll follow, just as Ruth followed Naomi, until we too have learned how to carry the presence, walk in covenant, and leave a legacy that points every generation back to Jesus.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms we too often take for granted.

As we gather with family and friends, may we never forget those who laid down everything for us. We pray for the families carrying the weight of loss today, and we thank God for the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13

From all of us at Golan Assembly of God, we wish you a safe and blessed Memorial Day. 🇺🇸🙏

With heavy hearts, we want to let everyone know that due to unforeseen circumstances with the plumbing we will have to cancel church services for tomorrow.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. Right now, we ask our church family and community to please keep our church and our tired pastor covered in prayer. He’s been trying so hard to fix the plumbing issue to no avail. Our hearts are heavy that we have to postpone Homecoming but we are leaning on God’s strength!

We know God is still faithful in every season, even in the hard moments. Thank you for your understanding, your love, and your prayers.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 ❤️

Please share this post and pass the message along to anyone who might’ve been planning to attend tomorrow.

In honor of Mother’s Day Sunday we want to say this to every mama in our church and community.

To the mama with little hands pulling at her all day…
To the mama raising teenagers and praying harder than ever…
To the grandma who stepped in and became mama all over again…
To the spiritual mama pouring into children God placed in your path…
To the mama whose nest feels a little emptier these days…
To the mama still praying for prodigals…
To the mama carrying grief for the child in heaven…
And to the woman whose heart longs to be called “Mama”…

We see you.
And more importantly God sees you.

He sees the meals made with love, even when you’re exhausted. He sees the tears that fall after everyone else has gone to bed. He hears the whispered prayers over bedrooms, ball fields, school hallways, hospital rooms, and kitchen tables. He sees the faith it takes to keep loving, keep giving, keep believing even on the hard days.

Mama, there are seeds you’ve planted in prayer that you may not see blooming yet but heaven has not forgotten a single one.

So if today feels heavy, if motherhood feels beautiful and heartbreaking all at once, if your heart is full or hurting, just know this:

Your labor is not in vain.
Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears.
Your tears are not wasted.
And your God is still writing the story.

From your church family—thank you for every prayer, every sacrifice, every act of love, and every generation you’re helping point toward Jesus. ❤️

“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.” — Psalm 126:5

When God steps into the room, everything changes. His Word was given with power, His presence was undeniable, burdens were laid down and tears stained the altars as hearts poured out before Him.

What a morning!
What a service!
What an awesome, awesome God!

Do it again, Lord! 🔥🔥🔥
