Pursuit Night reminded us that the promise may be public, but the preparation is often private.

David was worshiping when nobody was listening. Fighting when nobody was watching. Serving when nobody was celebrating. Faithful before there was ever a crown.

Don’t despise the season where it feels like no one sees what you’re doing. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep fighting. Keep showing up.

The grind isn’t wasted. God is using it to prepare you to carry the weight of what He promised.

Sunday looked a lot like the Church being the Church.

People went public with their faith through baptism. New members said yes to planting themselves in this house. Missionaries reminded us that the Gospel is moving far beyond these walls.

Different stories. Different nations. Different assignments. One mission: Jesus. We celebrate what God is doing here, and we refuse to forget what He is doing everywhere.

The Kingdom is bigger than one church. The Church is bigger than one room. And there is still a world to reach.

Aug 30 is one of those Sundays you don’t want to miss:

Baptisms — celebrating lives changed by Jesus.
New Members — welcoming some amazing families that have just completed Growth Track.
Missions Sunday — hearing from missionaries we support as they share what God is doing around the world.

Pastor's heart is simple for this service: bring the whole family into the room.

We believe there’s something powerful about one generation watching another generation say yes to Jesus. Our kids need to see baptisms. They need to hear stories from the mission field. They need to know that the Kingdom of God is bigger than what happens inside our walls.

This is family over familiar.
This is presence over performance.
This is what it looks like to be rooted in history and released into destiny.

Come celebrate what God is doing here.
Come hear what He’s doing around the globe.
Come ready to believe for what He wants to do next.

We’ll accept the terms and conditions on our phones without reading a word because we want the update.
But when God asks for our yes, suddenly we want every detail.

“What if it doesn’t work?”
“What if it costs too much?”
“What if I’m uncomfortable?”
“What if I fail?”

Sometimes God isn’t asking us to understand everything on the other side. He’s asking us to surrender.

We’re moving Upward Basketball & Cheer to a new time of year, giving our community another opportunity to get kids involved in sports, build friendships, grow in confidence, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, grow in character and faith.

Whether your child is ready to hit the court or cheer from the sidelines, we’d love for them to be part of the team!

Delay doesn’t mean denial.

Sometimes we get so uncomfortable waiting that we try to create our own answer. But what if the delay isn’t punishment? What if God is building your capacity to carry what you’ve been praying for?

Don’t force something out of frustration. Trust the process. Trust the One who wrote it. God, if I have to wait, what are You teaching me?
