Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that work in us, to Him be glory in the church through Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen! Ephesians 3:20,21.

As we are entering the month of May, we give thanks to the Lord for all He has done in April. God has used us in various ways and has defined our purpose through Breaking Ground Missions Uganda.

The gospel has been preached and over 500 souls were won for Christ in four regions of Uganda. We commit our selves to preaching until when He says the work is done, but for now He hasn’t said. Scripture tells us that the work is much but a few have committed them selves to it.

God has provided ways of discipling those who have accepted Christ to maturity in Him. Thankfully, these people are being transformed and shaped in the Christ likeness daily.

God has provided through His faithful servants. We have been able to purchase the Land for the new church plant in the Eastern region of Uganda, and in one week’s time construction will begin, praise the Lord!

A new bill in Uganda could mean all Ugandans, including Christians, would be under Islamic (Sharia) law.

What does that mean for Christians? Simply put, the law will prevent any conversions from Islam. And non-Muslims will no longer be able to seek legal justice in a family, custody or inheritance dispute involving a Muslim.
In many countries where Sharia courts exist, Christian converts can be executed and women and children stripped of their rights (careers, education and access to legal representation). Sharia law creates loopholes to force women and girls to convert to Islam, and Christians are forbidden to worship openly.

As you can tell, there is a huge need for prayer for Christians and all non-Muslims in Uganda. The bill is now in the Committee stage—the best time to oppose the law. The committee might invite religious leaders, civil society and legal experts to scrutinize the pending legislation. From there, the committee will prepare a report and make recommendations to parliament.

Please pray with us for our family in Uganda …

When I think about our ministry, what comes to mind is this phrase; Alongside. That’s exactly what we do! We seek to walk closely with local churches and leaders to help them in their God given calling. Last month was filled with a lot of activity that I got to be apart of. My highlight was a time I spent with the team in Masindi teaching and rubbing off shoulders with our staff. I have grown to realise that everyone needs encouragement and support to do what God has called them to do. We have a great team in masindi and ofcourse I can say this about all our centres in the country. It blesses my heart to always see God bring us faithful men and women to work with us. Breaking Ground cannot be without such servants.

Thinking about Alongside, we are all called to walk alongside the Lord as we seek to fulfil his purpose in and through our lives. Sometimes this purpose is discharged through partnerships with God’s family. This month reminded of the many partnerships we have that have helped us achieve what we have achieved so far. As BGM family here, we have never ceased to be amazed at this. We always remember the sacrifices of God’s people to support and extend his kingdom in the world.

Mathew 28 reminds us about the commission of our Lord. That Making of disciples should be the goal and mission of our lives. Not all of us will go but most of us can be senders and others goers, the work of the Lord continues to stand. We see this happen every day at BGM. Senders and goers all in one walk alongside each other to realize this. With this partnership, we are able to make our trainings, evangelism, church planting and equipment of Gods people happen. Thousands continue to hear the gospel, hundreds are being trained and equipped with sound teaching, Sunday pulpits declare truth to tens an hundreds , and the church is taking root in the heart of this part of the world. Nothing can compare with bringing souls to God and helping them know him so they worship him better. Please keep us on the list of the things you pray for. This is a supernatural ministry because all we do cannot be realized if God is not in them. If the Lord leads you to consider walking alongside us in any way, we pray you trust an obey. This year over 95 leaders will graduate and that’s because God’s people pray and refuse to just watch while millions go to hell. This is our heart and we pray it’s your desire to walk alongside this vision. Grace to you always!

On Sunday we were blessed with the opportunity to be with First Baptist Church Eclectic and update them on what God is doing in Uganda. Any time we have the privilege to share with others and thank them for their support is such a blessing to us. We were blessed to be a part of their missions day and get to hear about what God is doing in other parts of the world as well. God is on the move, He is still in the business of reconciliation and saving- and WE as His church get to play a role in that🙌🏼 It doesn't get better than that!

Thank you to everyone who hosted us, listened to us , came up and spoke with us, and supported us by purchasing souvenirs . God bless this congregation and all the efforts of their hands!

Last week we conducted an evangelism outreach in Chingoyoma, and we are deeply grateful to God for the successful work accomplished!

One of the most remarkable moments occurred at a local bar, where we initially began preaching, about seven people were listening to us so attentively. As the message progressed, more individuals gathered, and the number grew to over twenty. By the end of the preaching, four people surrendered their lives to Christ. We concluded the session by praying for the new believers and everyone present.

The area presented some spiritual challenges. A large number of residents strongly adhere to the Roman Catholic faith and are strongly resistant to the message of salvation, as they rely on good works and baptism for salvation. Additionally, the Muslim community, while attentive and respectful, holds firmly to their beliefs about Jesus Christ, as just a proper, messenger like prophet Muhammad and so happens to rest of Muslims found in other communities.

Despite these challenges, the Lord moved powerfully, and a total of ten souls were won to Christ during this outreach. We are truly thankful for what God is doing and trust Him for continued transformation in these people’s lives and the whole village entirely.!

Jesus says in Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves." America and Uganda , alike, are faced with many false prophets leading people astray. Here is a recent testimony of just one example of this problem in one of our local areas.

HOW CAN YOU HELP fight this problem in Uganda?? Help us continue training up hundreds of Ugandan men each year that will go out and preach, share and disciple others with SOUND doctrine!! Visit bgmissions.org and pray about making a monthly pledge towards our training program! YOU can help us continue to fight darkness with light!

"CULTS AND OTHER TRADITIONAL BELIEFS IN MIDWESTERN UGANDA"

As the Church advances in this Midwestern region of Uganda, more local churches are being planted, and Christian organizations are in place seeing to it that the Gospel is preached effectively.

However, there's "creeping in" of certain doctrinal teachings and practices in Church that do not have a biblical foundation. They are mostly standing on the roots of cults and other Anti-christian denominations. It's almost a norm here that local church leaders, cult leaders, and traditional healers sit on the same table, comfortably discussing spiritual matters and growth while treating one another as brothers.

Many local church leaders have become too blind to confront sin in front of them.
I realized through our trainings that this thing is affecting the local church leaders. Many leaders have found it difficult to deal with the sin of polygamy, divorce, and remarriage simply because other religious leaders are okay with it. Some are sensitive enough not to be yoked with unbelievers in those practices but many are struggling and compromising.

Our trainings are helping church leaders to focus on sound doctrine rather than compromise. Breaking Ground Missions Uganda is a timely ministry helping many pastors come into interaction with God's truth. This is so helpful because these men after they go back and teach sound doctrine.

May you pray for these men, this region and also Breaking Ground Missions for the great work which is causing transformation.

PASTOR TRAINING > CHURCH PLANTING > EVANGELISM > Breaking Ground Missions’ ministry objectives have always been clear; to train pastors in sound doctrine, to reach the lost with the gospel, and plant churches in needed villages in Uganda. We have always held to this conviction and have not wavered...

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

Every gift given to missions is a seed planted in faith—reaching places we may never go, but where God is already at work. Through your generosity, the gospel continues to spread, lives are transformed, and hope is carried to the ends of the earth.

Thank you for partnering in what God is doing around the world. Your giving truly makes an eternal impact.

We NEED 20 more people to pledge a monthly reoccurring gift of $20 THIS MONTH!!! Would you be the first?!?
