Baker-Downer Presbyterian Church worshiped at the old Downer Church located at Steam Threshers Hill; Rollag,MN as we do annually the week before Labor Day. For the third year we were led in worship by Mary Holtey, Pastor Emeritus. Virginia Stern provided music and the congregation provided coffee after the service on a pleasant day.

The Fall services start soon with Rally Day at Fargo First on 9/13 and Baker-Downer services beginning on 9/20.

What a beautiful evening of music at Baker-Downer Church last Thursday evening 8/27/26. The 5-member Baker Blue Grass Band entertained us and filled us with inspiration and joy. We were so happy to have nearly 30 persons (members, guests, family and neighbors) singing, moving, clapping and smiling. Thanks to everyone for being at Baker.

And we are so happy to announce that the Band will lead music at Rally Sunday on 9/13/26 at First Presbyterian in Fargo. Starting the last Sunday in September, they will be returning to Baker-Downer and leading services once monthly.

Remember our Blue Grass Concert at 7:00 pm today. It looks like a pleasant evening with our delightful band.

Well yesterday evening was cooler than a few weeks ago and we the Baker Ball Field Clean-up Team got some work done before our dinner at the Baker-Downer Church. This week it was more w**d removal and painting the benches Baker Blue. Next week will be our last since the ball season is over. Second coat of paint and more w**d removal is planned.

Look for information coming soon about our August 26 evening Baker Blue Grass Band outdoor concert (indoors if weather is bad).
