The First Baptist Church of Baird has an opening for a Music Director. This individual would lead the music ministry of the church on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.

The church is also looking to hire a piano player for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.
Both of these positions are part time paid positions.

To all of our community:
Due to the extremely cold and dangerous weather conditions expected over the next 36 hours we will NOT have our normal services on Wednesday night. I feel it is better to cancel our services and not put anyone in any danger due to the frigid conditions.

THE DRIVE FOR FIVE
Calling for each family in Baird to donate $5.00 dollars for Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief. Just five dollars per family.
This is a true community wide effort to donate money to Samaritan’s Purse.
Samaritan’s Purse has a five point relief effort in Western Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
This fundraiser will begin on Monday October 28th and run through November 8th, 2024.
This effort is being put together by the First Baptist Church of Baird in cooperation with the City of Baird, the Baird ISD, First Bank Texas in Baird, Hanner Chevrolet.
