Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the sacrifice that was made for us.

Abiding is not about perfection. It is about staying connected. Even when you stumble, you return to Him instead of running from Him.

To truly abide in Christ means to remain deeply connected to Him in your heart, mind, and daily life — not just believing in Him, but living in continual relationship with Him.

He compares Himself to a vine and believers to branches. A branch only lives and bears fruit if it stays connected to the vine. In the same way, abiding in Christ means depending on Him for spiritual life, strength, peace, wisdom, and growth.

Lord, thank You for this new day. Help me to walk in grace today—showing patience, kindness, and love to others just as You have shown grace to me. When it’s hard to understand someone, give me a compassionate heart. Let my words bring peace, my actions reflect Your love, and my life be a reminder of the grace You freely give. In Jesus’ name, amen.
