What can one say about Iris? A sweet, kind and giving lady, who loved her family, her friends and her God. Always ready with a helping hand, kind words, a smile and delicious treat! Iris made a difference in the lives of so many and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Fly High Iris, Fly High!

Iris was born on November 8th, 1929 and passed away on February 14th, 2025 at the age of 95

Carleton, an integral part of PUMC, he served as a Trustee, Historian, Choir Leader, SPPRC and led in so many other ways. He will be remembered and missed! " Well done, good and faithful servant..." RIP Carleton

Our Vicki has gone Home to Glory reunited with her loved ones! Sending our deepest condolences to Wayne and the family! You will be missed and remembered!

Vicki was born on February 17th, 1947 and passed away on January 20th, 2025 at the age of 77

People's United Methodist Church-Baileyville, Maine is officially closed. We are just days away from selling the building. Peoples membership has been transfered to the Calais United Methodist Church. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Sharon Stevens-Grant. This song says it all, the building is closed but the church goes on!

Greetings
The People’s and Calais UMC congregations have united and are now worshiping full time at the Calais building.

The last service at People’s building will be November 22, 2024 @ 3:00 pm.

This date was chosen to allow past clergy to attend if the wished and 3:00 would give people time to return home before complete darkness arrives.

Questions or suggestions please call or email Pastor Sharon or Rhonda. We will not be holding a reception before or after due to the coolness and construction dust of the building beyond the sanctuary.

Please attend if you are able and if not forward a note we might share. If you have email addresses or phone numbers of those who would like to attend please spread the word.
