For too long the church has been portrayed as weak and defeated with no ability to manifest the life of Christ in the earth. Partly, that may be so because of man-centered teaching which has kept the body of Christ in a state of immaturity, not knowing who they are in Him (Jesus), and what took place at the cross. When Jesus said in John 19:30, it is finished, it was finished, and there is absolut
ely nothing man could do to add to that redemptive work. II Corinthians 5:21 states, He hath made Him to be sin for us, ......that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. So if we believe, we are complete in Him as Colossians 2:10 says, then we walk according to that we believe is true of us. It is no more the sweat of Adam, for now we can enjoy what is ours in Christ. Just rest in His finished work, and know you're more than a conqueror through Him that loved you (Romans 8:37).
