Bethel Southern Methodist Church was founded in 1874. Despite our small numbers, we accomplish big things-giving significant amounts of money each year to the destitute, ministering each week to the addicted, reaching out in prayer and service to the community around us; all the while enjoying wonderful fellowship! At Bethel, we believe:
- That God loves you! (John 3:16)
- That you and I will not

be perfect but despite our imperfections, God desires to use us to make the world a better place. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1; Matthew 25:31-46)
- That Heaven awaits those who have accepted God and committed themselves to His purpose. (John 14:2-4; Matthew 25:46)
- That fellowship and teaching are essential to spiritual growth as we travel Heavenward. (Hebrews 10:25; 2 Timothy 2:15)
