Due to the winter weather, worship and Bible study are cancelled for tomorrow, February 1st. We hope very much to gather together next week on February 8th.

Since service is cancelled, Rev. Claire Clyburn, our District Superintendent, will be preaching during our worship service on February 15th instead.

On this, the last Sunday of Pastor Appreciation Month, we'd like to take the opportunity to welcome our new pastor, Ken Helms.

Ken, and his wife Jan, came to our congregation this past July. Ken has been preaching since he was a child, and has many years of ministry under his belt. We've been grateful for Ken's leadership in the past three months, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our church.

Thank you, Ken and Jan, for all that you both do for our congregation. We're happy to have you both!

On Saturday, October 19th, we celebrated 100 years at Union Grove! The service included music from the Evening Doves and dulcimer group, a message from Bishop Connie Shelton, and stories from the founding of Union Grove and our shared life in this wonderful community.

Thank you to all who contributed time and talents to making a truly memorable worship service. Thank you, too, to those who make this community what it is. We have a truly special 'church in the wildwood' at Union Grove. To God be the glory!

What a joy it was to celebrate Pastor Jane today and thank her for her ministry! There was good food, wonderful music, and Pastor Jane left us with a great message.

Thank you again, Pastor Jane, for the work that you have put into us here at Union Grove. We're sad to see you go, but we wish you a happy retirement.
