Today, Bradley Long, Gayle Mack and Gwen Hodges assisted Bethany UMC's Myles Neighborhood Outreach with delivering, sorting, tagging, hanging and folding clothes for tomorrow's event at their fellowship hall for the unhoused. If you are interested in volunteering the Friday before the 3rd Saturday of each month, Gary and Lisa Kearns along with their daughter, Lauren Dawood would appreciate your assistance so please let Gwen or Bradley know. It was a blessing to work together for those less fortunate.

The Rise Against Hunger was successful. In partnership with Bethany UM Church, we packed 3,894 meals that is being sent to the Philippines. There were lots of fun and fellowship while completing our community service project. Thanks to all the volunteers and those who provided financial support. May God continue to bless you for your service to those in need.

Our church hosted the Durham Interdenominational Ushers Union Annual Oratorical, Talent, Essay and Charles B. Noel Academic Scholarship Program. Lauryn Davis represented our youth ushers and was among the 4 seniors receiving scholarship money. Congratulations to all the participants as they truly used their talents!
