PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH!

Dear Ones,
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! A set-apart time, to let those who lead the flock, know how they are loved. In this prayer group we have several wonderful Pastors, and I count it an honor & privilege, that you would read the posts, and add your prayers to ours. We value you. In our own lives, Pastors have always played an important role. From my grandmother living next door to the parsonage, we always had sweet relationships w/the many pastors we have appreciated through the years. Their wisdom & insights into life & relationship w/the Lord, have kept us strong. We have discovered, as we became close Friends to some of them, that they are among the most unselfish of all people, who do not enter into this way of life to make money or create a name. They love people and they love their souls. They have a strong & compelling desire, to see people enter into Heaven, when this life is over. They are able to juggle many plates & wear hats of all kinds, as they do the work of the Lord. We are all blessed to have a Pastor or Pastors in our lives. Today, we take occasion to say how we love you, but more importantly...how valuable you are to God. His feet & hands extended, to His most treasured creation here on earth.
Father God,
Today, we pray for these vessels of honor & place them in Your care. They are Yours in the fullest sense of the word. Take them & use them, to Your everlasting Glory. Develop around them a nurturing system, that can hold up their arms when they are weary. Cause them to clearly see & hear Your will for their ministries, and to be able to wisely sift the wheat from the chaff, and order their times to fulfill the highest plan & purpose, You ordained for them, when You knew them BEFORE they were in their mother’s womb.
Oh Lord, these men & women who serve You at the altar, need refilling, restoration & anointing, for their everyday tasks. Would You minister to each of them according to their needs, and where the flame needs fanning, fan the flame & start the fires burning brightly again, so that every moment they may feel they are fulfilling the divine calling, You placed on their lives, with Holy Grace. Baptize them anew, with joy today...unspeakable & full of Glory!
