🕊️ COMMUNITY PRAYER VIGIL 🕊️
Honoring the Life & Legacy of RICHARD ELIJAH CLARK
We bow in solemn prayer and with heavy hearts to the passing of our beloved Richard Elijah Clark.
With hearts filled with sorrow, we invite family, friends, neighbors, and the entire community to join us for a Community Prayer Vigil honoring the life of Richard Elijah “Elijah” Clark.
📅 Wednesday, September 2, 2026
⏰ 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church
500 Sherman Street
Badin, North Carolina 28009
The Prayer Vigil will be held on the sacred grounds of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church as we come together in prayer, love, unity, and support for one another during this heartbreaking tragedy.
Our desire is to create a peaceful and sacred space where Elijah’s family, friends, and community can grieve, pray, reflect, and find comfort in the presence of God and one another.
🕊️ A REQUEST FOR PEACE & RESPECT 🕊️
We invite everyone to join us in honoring Elijah and supporting one another through this tragedy. We respectfully request that this remains a completely sober and peaceful space for the family. We kindly ask that all guests arrive sober.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We appreciate your full presence, love, compassion, and respect during this Community Prayer Vigil.
🙏🏾 PLEASE KEEP ELIJAH’S IN YOUR PRAYERS: 🙏🏾
Elijah’s parents, his siblings, his three children and their mother, his grandparents, his extended family, his friends, the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church family, the entire West Badin Community and everyone whose heart has been touched by Elijah’s life, light, and love.
Let us come together—not to add to the pain, but to pray through the pain. Let us surround this family with love, compassion, strength, and the peace that only God can provide. Seating will be available for our seniors in the family and community who maybe attending.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
— Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
🙏🏾 Come in prayer. 🙏🏾
