📣📣📣🔥 LAST DAY CRISIS: AUTHORITY — WHO IS YOUR MASTER?🧐⏰‼️

⚠️ A QUESTION OF WORSHIP, OBEDIENCE, AND LOYALTY
Look carefully at the picture. Two words stand out:
🔥 AUTHORITY
❓ WHO IS YOUR MASTER?
Romans 6:16 gives us a solemn principle:
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey.”
Every human being ultimately chooses whom they will serve. The question is not merely what we profess with our lips, but whose authority governs our lives.
Ellen G. White makes this same point in Testimonies for the Church, where she warns that some may profess to serve Christ while actually obeying another master. 2T 442.1.
So let's open the Bible and examine this question.

🔴 1. EVERYONE SERVES SOMEONE
📖 Romans 6:16
“To whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey.”
There is no neutral ground when it comes to the master of your life.
🔴 We can yield to sin.
🟢 Or we can yield to righteousness.
The real question is:
❓ WHO ARE YOU YIELDING YOURSELF TO?
Ellen White wrote that people who profess to be Christ's servants but do not live in obedience to His will are actually serving another master.

🟠 2. YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS
📖 Matthew 6:24
“No man can serve two masters.”
Jesus did not say:
❌ Serve God when convenient.
❌ Follow tradition when it agrees with Scripture.
❌ Obey God only when everybody agrees.
He said:
🔥 YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS.

“If we serve sin, we cannot serve Christ.”

🟡 3. GOD IS THE HIGHEST AUTHORITY

“We ought to obey God rather than men.”
Human beings have authority in many areas of life—but no human authority can replace God's authority.

“Thy word is truth.”
🟡 When human teaching conflicts with God's Word, the Christian must return to Scripture.

🟢 4. GOD'S LAW REVEALS HIS AUTHORITY
📖 Exodus 20:1–17
The Ten Commandments begin with God's authority:
“And God spake all these words…”
The fourth commandment says:

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.”
And why?
“For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth…”
🟢 The Sabbath points us back to the Creator.

🔵 5. JESUS DID NOT REMOVE THE SABBATH
📖 Luke 4:16
“As his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day.”
Jesus kept the Sabbath.
📖 Mark 2:27–28
“The sabbath was made for man…”
“The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.”
And after Christ's crucifixion:

His followers rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.
🔵 The question therefore deserves an honest biblical examination:
❓ WHERE DOES THE BIBLE RECORD JESUS CHANGING THE SEVENTH DAY TO THE FIRST DAY?
Ellen White specifically connects the Sabbath question with the fourth commandment and the conflict over authority.

🟣 6. THE FINAL CRISIS INVOLVES WORSHIP
📖 Revelation 13:15
The prophecy describes the image of the beast exercising authority and requiring worship.
Then Revelation 14 presents God's final warning:

“Fear God, and give glory to him…”
“Worship him that made heaven, and earth…”
Then comes the warning against worshipping the beast and his image.
🟣 This means the final controversy is fundamentally about:
WHO WILL YOU WORSHIP?
WHOSE AUTHORITY WILL YOU ACCEPT?
Ellen White describes the final conflict in terms of worship and obedience to God's commandments.

🔴 7. RELIGIOUS AUTHORITY AND CIVIL POWER
📖 Revelation 13:15–17
The prophecy describes religious authority exercising power through civil means.
Ellen White's interpretation connects the “image to the beast” with religious power influencing the civil government to enforce religious requirements.

⚠️ The issue therefore becomes much deeper than simply:
Saturday vs. Sunday.
The question becomes:
❓ WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO COMMAND THE CONSCIENCE?

🟠 8. THE SABBATH QUESTION BECOMES A QUESTION OF ALLEGIANCE
Ellen White makes an important distinction.
She acknowledges that sincere Christians have historically kept Sunday believing they were honoring God.

She writes that there are sincere Christians who honestly believe Sunday is the Sabbath. But she places the decisive issue in the context of future enforcement by law and clear knowledge of the claims of the true Sabbath. �

🔥 This distinction is important.
It means we should not attack individual Christians.
❌ Not hatred.
❌ Not insults.
❌ Not persecution.
❌ Not condemnation of people.
Instead:
🟢 Study the Bible.
🟢 Follow Christ.
🟢 Obey God's Word.

🟡 9. THE FINAL TEST INVOLVES GOD'S COMMANDMENTS
📖 Revelation 14:12
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
Look carefully at the two elements:
🟢 THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD
❤️ THE FAITH OF JESUS
Not commandments without Christ.
Not faith without obedience.
FAITH IN JESUS PRODUCES OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Ellen White states that God's commandments and the faith of Jesus are central to the preparation for the judgment.

Now return to the words on the picture:
WHO IS YOUR MASTER?
📖 Romans 6:16

🔥 If sin controls you—who is your master?
🔥 If human tradition controls you—who is your master?
🔥 If popularity controls you—who is your master?
🔥 If fear controls your obedience—who is your master?
But if your heart says:
❤️ “Jesus is my Master.”
Then your prayer should be:
“Lord, teach me Your Word. Give me courage to follow You. And when Your truth is clear, give me strength to obey.”

Ellen White's strongest statement on this subject is worth reading carefully:

📣📣📣🔥 SAMSON: STRONG IN THE BODY, BUT WEAK IN SELF-CONTROL 🔥⏰💯✅

A Life of Great Potential, Great Failure, Repentance, and Redemption
📖 Key Text: “For he that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” — Proverbs 16:32

Samson's story is not merely the story of the strongest man who ever lived. It is a solemn lesson about strength without self-control, calling without consecration, and potential weakened by compromise.
God had a special purpose for Samson even before his birth. His parents were instructed to practice temperance, self-denial, and obedience, because the child was to be consecrated to God as a Nazarite.
Yet Samson possessed tremendous physical strength while struggling with the far greater battle of controlling his desires. His greatest victories came when he depended upon God, while his greatest defeats came when he followed his own passions.
👉 Samson teaches us that physical strength is not the same as spiritual strength.

🔴 1. GOD CAN PREPARE A DELIVERER IN THE DARKEST TIMES
Israel was under Philistine oppression, but God had not forgotten His people.
🟢 Even when apostasy was widespread, faithful worshipers continued to cry to God for deliverance.
📖 Judges 13:5 — “He shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”
🔥 Lesson: When God's people see no immediate answer, God may already be preparing the answer.

🟠 2. PARENTS HAVE A SACRED RESPONSIBILITY
Before Samson was born, God gave his parents specific instructions concerning their lifestyle and the child's upbringing.
📖 Judges 13:7 — “The child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.”
🔵 Parents are called to consider:
🟢 What habits are we establishing?
🟡 What example are we giving?
🟠 What influences surround our children?
🔴 What are we teaching them about God?
📖 Proverbs 22:6 — “Train up a child in the way he should go.”
🔥 Lesson: A child's spiritual training should not be left to chance.

🟡 3. TRUE TEMPERANCE INVOLVES SELF-CONTROL
Samson was commanded to avoid w**e and strong drink and to observe the Nazarite requirements.
📖 Judges 13:4 — “Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not w**e nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing.”
💚 True temperance is more than avoiding one particular substance. It involves bringing appetite, desires, habits, and passions under proper control.
📖 1 Corinthians 9:25 — “Every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.”
🔥 Lesson: If we cannot govern ourselves, our strongest abilities can become dangerous weaknesses.

🔵 4. SAMSON HAD GREAT STRENGTH—BUT NEEDED GREATER CHARACTER
Samson possessed extraordinary physical power, but physical strength did not automatically produce spiritual strength.
📖 Proverbs 16:32 — “He that ruleth his spirit [is better] than he that taketh a city.”
🔴 Samson could tear apart a lion.
🔴 He could break strong ropes.
🔴 He could defeat hundreds of Philistines.
⚠️ Yet he struggled to control his own passions.
🔥 Lesson: The greatest victory is not conquering others—it is conquering self through God's grace.

🟣 5. WRONG ASSOCIATIONS CAN DARKEN A GOD-GIVEN CALLING
Samson repeatedly placed himself among the Philistines and formed relationships that weakened his loyalty to God.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:33 — “Evil communications corrupt good manners.”
⚠️ The danger was not simply where Samson went, but what those associations were doing to his character.
🟠 One compromise prepared the way for another.
🟡 One wrong step made the next one easier.
🔥 Lesson: We should carefully consider whether our friendships and relationships strengthen or weaken our walk with God.

🔴 6. SAMSON ALLOWED PERSONAL DESIRE TO OVERRIDE GOD'S COUNSEL
Samson wanted a Philistine woman and told his parents:
📖 Judges 14:3 — “She pleaseth me well.”
But the issue was bigger than romantic preference. Samson was allowing personal desire to become the deciding authority.
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
💥 Lesson: “I want it” is never sufficient reason to pursue something God has warned us against.

🟢 7. ONE WRONG STEP CAN OPEN THE DOOR TO ANOTHER
Samson's story shows a tragic progression:
🔴 Wrong associations
➡️ 🟠 Wrong desires
➡️ 🟡 Wrong decisions
➡️ 🟣 Repeated compromise
➡️ 🔵 Loss of spiritual strength
➡️ ⚫ Bo***ge and humiliation
📖 James 1:14–15 — “Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin.”
🔥 Lesson: Do not wait until a small compromise becomes a life-controlling habit.

🟠 8. DELILAH REVEALS THE DANGER OF PLAYING WITH TEMPTATION
Samson repeatedly received warnings, yet continued placing himself in dangerous circumstances.
Eventually Delilah discovered the secret of his Nazarite dedication.
📖 Judges 16:20 — “And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.”
⚠️ This is one of the saddest statements in Samson's story.
He thought he could rise and act as before—but his relationship with God had been compromised.
🔥 Lesson: Never presume upon God's strength while deliberately walking away from God's instructions.

🔵 9. SAMSON'S HAIR WAS NOT THE SOURCE OF HIS POWER
Samson's long hair itself was not magical.
It was a visible symbol of his Nazarite consecration and loyalty to God.
📖 Judges 16:17 — “I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb.”
When Samson abandoned the conditions of his calling, he forfeited the blessing associated with that consecration.
💜 Yet there was hope.
📖 Judges 16:22 — “Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.”
🔥 Lesson: Failure does not have to be the final chapter when genuine repentance turns the heart back toward God.

🟡 10. SAMSON'S FINAL PRAYER SHOWS THAT GOD'S MERCY CAN MEET US IN OUR LOWEST PLACE
Blind, imprisoned, humiliated, and broken, Samson prayed:
📖 Judges 16:28 — “O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God.”
🙏 God answered his prayer.
His final act struck a decisive blow against the Philistine gathering, and Scripture records:
📖 Judges 16:30 — “So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.”
🔥 Samson's life ended tragically, but his story became a testimony that God can hear a repentant sinner even after terrible failure.

❤️ THE GREAT LESSON OF SAMSON
Samson was physically strong but morally weak.
He could defeat an army, but struggled to defeat his own passions.
He could break chains, but repeatedly allowed temptation to bind him.
He could conquer enemies, but could not consistently govern himself.

💥 REAL STRENGTH IS SELF-CONTROL UNDER GOD'S POWER.
📖 Galatians 5:22–23 — “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.”
🙏 The same God who called Samson is able to strengthen us.
When temptation comes, don't trust your own strength.
When desire speaks loudly, seek God's wisdom.
When you have fallen, don't remain in the dust.
When you have failed, return to God.
When you feel weak, remember:
📖 Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
🔥 Don't merely ask God for strength to fight others—ask Him for strength to conquer self.

🙏 Appeal
Lord, teach us to control our appetites, guard our associations, resist temptation, honor our calling, and depend completely upon Your strength. May we never allow our gifts to become greater than our character. Give us victory over self through Jesus Christ. Amen.

📣📣📣🔥 THE CALL OF ABRAHAM: FAITH THAT OBEYS WHEN GOD CALLS 🔥⏰✅‼️💯

Abraham’s story is not merely about leaving a country—it is about leaving the familiar, trusting God’s Word, surrendering human security, and following wherever God leads.
Abraham lived in a world surrounded by idolatry, yet he remained faithful to the true God. When God called, Abraham did not demand to know every detail. He obeyed by faith.
📖 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out… obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” — Hebrews 11:8
Here are 10 powerful lessons from Abraham’s call:

🔴 1. GOD CAN CALL YOU OUT OF A CORRUPTED ENVIRONMENT
Abraham lived among people surrounded by idolatry, yet he remained faithful to God.
📖 Joshua 24:2–3 — Abraham’s family served other gods, but God called Abraham.
📖 Psalm 145:18 — “The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him in truth.”
🔥 Lesson: Your surroundings do not have to determine your faithfulness.

🟠 2. GOD’S CALL MAY REQUIRE SEPARATION
God told Abraham:
📖 “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house.” — Genesis 12:1
Abraham had to leave familiar surroundings so that God could prepare him for a special work.
🔥 Lesson: Sometimes following God means leaving behind influences, relationships, habits, or plans that hinder spiritual growth.
📖 2 Corinthians 6:17: “Come out from among them, and be ye separate…”

🟡 3. TRUE FAITH OBEYS BEFORE IT SEES EVERYTHING
Abraham did not know exactly where he was going.
📖 “By faith Abraham… obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” — Hebrews 11:8
He had God’s promise even though he did not have a complete map.
🔥 Lesson: Faith does not require knowing every detail before obeying God.
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

🟢 4. GOD’S PROMISES OFTEN COME WITH A TEST OF FAITH
God promised Abraham:
📖 “I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” — Genesis 12:2
But before Abraham could see the fulfillment, he had to walk by faith.
🔥 Lesson: A divine promise does not mean there will be no difficulties along the way.
📖 James 1:3–4: “The trying of your faith worketh patience.”

🔵 5. GOD CALLS US TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS
God did not bless Abraham merely for Abraham’s benefit.
📖 Genesis 12:2–3: “Thou shalt be a blessing… and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
The ultimate blessing would come through the promised Seed, Jesus Christ.

🔥 Lesson: God’s calling is never merely about what we receive—it is also about what He can accomplish through us for others.

🟣 6. WHEREVER ABRAHAM WENT, HE BUILT AN ALTAR
Abraham’s journey was marked by worship.
📖 Genesis 12:7–8 — Abraham built an altar unto the LORD and called upon His name.
His tent could be moved, but his worship remained.
🔥 Lesson: Do not let changing circumstances change your devotion to God.
📖 Psalm 34:1: “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

🔴 7. GOD’S PEOPLE MAY FACE TRIALS AFTER OBEYING
Abraham obeyed God, yet famine came.
Imagine it: Abraham had entered the Promised Land, but instead of immediate prosperity, he encountered difficulty.
📖 Genesis 12:10: “And there was a famine in the land…”
🔥 Lesson: A trial does not automatically mean you are outside God’s will.
📖 1 Peter 1:6–7: Trials test the genuineness of our faith.

🟠 8. TRIALS CAN TEACH US SUBMISSION, PATIENCE, AND FAITH
Abraham could not understand everything God was doing, but he continued trusting the promise.
📖 Romans 8:18: “The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
📖 2 Corinthians 4:17: “Our light affliction… worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
🔥 Lesson: God can use difficult experiences to develop the character needed for His service.

🟡 9. EVEN GREAT MEN OF FAITH HAVE HUMAN WEAKNESSES
Abraham made a serious mistake in Egypt when he concealed the true relationship between himself and Sarah.
📖 Genesis 12:11–13
His experience reminds us that faith does not mean human beings never make mistakes.
🔥 Lesson: Never trust your own wisdom more than God’s protection.
📖 Proverbs 28:13: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
Yet God mercifully intervened and protected Sarah.

🟢 10. THE TRUE TEST IS WHETHER WE WILL FOLLOW GOD TO THE END
Abraham’s life became a testimony of trusting God through uncertainty, sacrifice, testing, and delay.
📖 Hebrews 11:9–10 — He dwelt in the land of promise as a stranger, “for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”
🔥 Lesson: Abraham was not ultimately living for an earthly destination. He was looking beyond this world to the heavenly city.

🔥 THE CALL STILL COMES TODAY
Abraham’s call challenges every believer:
🔴 Will you obey when God calls you away from the familiar?
🟠 Will you trust Him when you cannot see the whole road?
🟡 Will you remain faithful when obedience brings sacrifice?
🟢 Will you continue worshiping when circumstances become difficult?
🔵 Will you allow trials to develop your character?
🟣 Will you become a blessing to others wherever God places you?
📖 Hebrews 11:8
“By faith Abraham… obeyed.”

🙏 THE APPEAL
God may not show you the entire journey. He may only show you the next step.
But when God speaks through His Word, the question is not, “Do I understand everything?”
The question is:
“Do I trust the One who is leading me?”
Abraham left his country.
He left the familiar.
He walked by faith.
He faced trials.
He made mistakes.
He learned dependence upon God.
And he kept moving toward the promise.
🔥 May we have the faith of Abraham—to hear God’s call, obey His Word, trust His providence, endure the test, and follow Him wherever He leads.
