announces a new era in Cougar Athletics with the return of its football program, set to take the field for the 2026 season. After a five-year hiatus, the university is excited to reinstate this beloved sport and foster a renewed sense of school spirit and community engagement. In conjunction with the program’s revival, APU athletics will transition to NCAA Division III.

Congratulations to ! Ben has done a lot for the football community here in the San Gabriel Valley for over 20 years from playing and coaching at Azusa Pacific, to coaching at , and now at Chaffee College (technically not the SGV). His greatest contribution though, being a godly example of a man, coach, and father to countless young men!

what defines you? God alone. never would have imagined this is how my season would end, a little too short. however, God has a different plan and it is FOR the good. If it is not good, He is not done. He is working right now and has been working throughout these past four years of hs. that is why i have joy and a smile on my face, along with some tears, as my senior season has ended. thank you, Jesus. #8 out.
