Day 998: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.

END TIMES
"And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand" (Luke 21: 29, 30).

From the behavior of trees, it's possible to tell the seasons. In the dry season for instance, the deciduous trees shade off leaves and at another time the leaves shoot to indicate that the rainy season is around the corner.
In like manner, the happenings of our time, clearly show that the day of the Lord's coming is near. It's not unusual to be bombarded with news of su***de, homicide, aggravated robbery, gender dysphoria, abductions, wars and famine. People becoming lovers of themselves only and their money.
Immorality is becoming more popular than morality. What a world! All these, however, are only signs of the end.
Since we live at a time when these happenings are common, let's cease the opportunity to spread the Good News of the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ.

Day 997: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.

The wisdom of Jesus Christ was unimaginable to the extent that He had answer to all the plots of the scribes and Pharisee.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word what a glory He shields on our way, when we do His good will He abides with us still.
God is ready to provide us with the knowledge and wisdom to go through life challenges if we trust Him and obey Him.
Let us study the scriptures to see ourselves approved and watchmen unto God.
Jesus knew His Father and had an answer for every situation that arouse in the course of their debate.
If we study the word of God we will have answers to our life challenges.

Day 747: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.
Matthew 16

Jesus was trying to explain the amazing gift of salvation to the disciples. They were listening, but they didn’t really hear what Jesus was saying. It was so far from what they wanted or perhaps expected to hear from Him, that they missed what was important. They didn’t see that the Lamb of God was about to be placed on the altar of Calvary. This was the defining moment that would FREE the world from the snares of sin.

It’s all about perspective. What’s in our view? Are we seeing the big picture? Are we open to the teachings of the Holy Spirit? My goal is to keep focusing on Jesus. What about yours?

Day 946: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.

Jesus is like the Canaanite woman. He was willing to be “despised and rejected of men” by becoming a human and gave His life for our salvation and healing (Isaiah 53:3). He allowed others to ignore Him, speak ill of Him and reject Him and yet He persisted in asking His Father to save us. He did not reject us.

If you read Matthew 25:45 correctly, when we reject others (as the disciples wanted to reject the Canaanite woman), we reject Christ. Be careful whom you reject.

Day 945: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.

What do you do when Jesus moves contrary to your desires and wishes? What do you do when His ways seem unreasonable? While on the lake the disciples experienced another storm, this one not of emotional turmoil, but one that packed fierce winds that placed them all at physical risk. During the storm Jesus approached them when they were least expecting His presence. When fears abounded, Jesus allowed them to know that He always had His eyes on them, just as He always had His eyes on John the Baptist.

When doubts and fears assail us, it is important to remember that Jesus loves us even when we cannot understand His answers in our lives. He, the Peace-speaker, will one day calm the storms in your life and the storms in this world, just wait and see.

Day 883: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.

As the Lord loved Isreal and placed the responsibilities of warning the our founding fathers of the danger of corruption, immorality, worship of other gods and all manner of evil but they refused. Today God is calling the remnant church to take the good news to the people of our time to warn them about the impending doom else we will perish .
The great question this morning is can two walk together except they agree? We are challenged today to walk with the Lord to spread the good news to a perishing world and it shall be well with us .
Our lives in all fronts must agree with this says the Lord for us to blow the trumpet.
Am I ready, are you ready?
help mercy on us Dear Lord so that we will carry out this mantle to the glory of your Holy name .

Day 882: Daily Bible reading, a chapter a day.
Amos 2

Why would Judah spurn Yahweh’s commandments and be led by strange gods? These gods provided no benefits, yet God’s people worshiped them as if they were obligated. Both Judah and Israel’s behavior was alarming, to say the least, and reflected an abandonment of the true Shepherd’s principles.
May God help us today to hear the voice of our Shepherd and walk in the Way.
