Good Morning! We're so glad you could join us this morning. Today is Sunday October 18th. This is the link to our Contemporary service at 11:00AM this morning.

The religious leaders asked Jesus whether it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar. Holding up a coin, Jesus asked, "Whose image is this?" When they answered, "Caesar's," He replied, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

That raises an important question: What bears the image of God? – You Do!

God created us in His image, and through Jesus Christ, He has redeemed us and made us His own. In Baptism, His name was placed upon us, and we were clothed with Christ's righteousness. This weekend, we'll explore what it means to belong to God and how He works through our everyday lives to serve the world.

Caesar's image was stamped on a coin. God's name has been placed upon you.

Good Morning! We're so glad you could join us this morning. Today is Sunday October 11th. This is the link to our Contemporary service at 9:00AM this morning.

A friend this week described life like a cubist painting. We can recognize the pieces, but they do not seem to fit together. We know God is good. We know He loves us. Yet life can still feel fractured by suffering, uncertainty, sin, and death.

That is the heart of the Gospel. God does not invite us to His Kingdom because we have earned a place at the table. Christ has done everything necessary for our salvation through His death and resurrection. The feast is prepared. The invitation is given.

This weekend we will hear again that invitation as Christ gathers us around His Word, strengthens our faith, and sends us to love and serve our neighbors.

Good Morning! We're so glad you could join us this morning. Today is Sunday October 4th. This is the link to our Traditional service at 9:00AM this morning.

In Matthew 21:33–46, Jesus tells a difficult parable. A vineyard owner sends servant after servant to collect the fruit of his vineyard, but the tenants beat and kill them. Finally, the owner sends his son. What makes the parable remarkable is that Jesus knows He is the Son in the story. He knows what is coming. The religious leaders are already plotting against Him. The cross is drawing near. Yet Jesus does not run away. He comes willingly.

That is the heart of the Gospel. Jesus does not defeat His enemies by destroying them. He gives His life to save them. The stone the builders rejected becomes the cornerstone. Through His death and resurrection, sinners are forgiven and given eternal life.

In Matthew 21:23–32, Jesus tells a simple story about a father and two sons. One son says, “I will not,” but later changes his mind and goes to work in his father’s vineyard. The other gives exactly the right answer—“I go, sir”—but never goes. Jesus uses their story to confront religious leaders who knew all the right words but failed to recognize what God was doing right in front of them.

If we’re honest, we’ve probably been both sons. Thankfully, neither son is our Savior. Jesus is the perfectly obedient Son who said yes to His Father and went all the way to the cross for us. Because of Him, our failures are forgiven, and our “no” does not have to be the end of our story.

Good Morning! We're so glad you could join us this morning. Today is Sunday September 20th. This is the link to our Contemporary service at 11:00AM this morning.

“That’s not fair!” As we discovered last Sunday, somewhere inside us is a scorecard that keeps track of who worked harder, who received more, and who got something they didn’t deserve.

This Sunday, Jesus challenges our view of scorecards again with His parable of the workers in the vineyard in Matthew 20:1–16. Some work all day. Others work only an hour. Yet at the end of the day, the master gives them the same wage. We value fairness but do we really want God to give us exactly what we deserve?

The Gospel offers grace. At the cross, Jesus receives what our sins deserve, and we receive what He has earned: forgiveness, life, salvation, and an eternal inheritance we could never earn for ourselves.
